Beth's stupid-ass friends are determined to make her eighteenth birthday memorable. Their antics leave her stranded in the bad part of an unfamiliar town, currently patrolled by Officer Shane Walsh. Threatened by criminals and cops alike, she's forced to hunker-down with a group of roughs, including a certain ornery redneck. (No ZA AU Bethyl only mildly M)

When every moment might be your last, Beth and Daryl have to decide if their growing attraction is a risk worth taking. Starts in the prison and strays from the show's plot after the group gets separated by the Governor's attack. A slow and sweet build-up between two of my favorite characters.

"He seemed an unlikely friend for his youngest daughter but he made her happy and that was all Hershel wanted for his children. He wasn't about to take that happiness from Beth or from the Dixon boy." I suck at summaries. AU, NO zombies, Bethyl.

A look at what might happen if Beth and Daryl form a bond earlier in the series. Beth believes Daryl to be a good man and Daryl finds that, despite knowing better, he wants Beth to continue looking at him like he is one. Romance/Horror/Action/Angst/Suspense. S2 onward with my own take on things.
