Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter. My name is WizardingWorld97. As you have probably deducted, I was born in 1997. I'm from the Netherlands. I am attending University, so my life is pretty busy. In 2014 I got into fanfiction through one fanfiction, though that one was pretty old. So that's when I started searching others, and got really into it. In November that year, I even started writing one. However, very soon afterwards, I was having trouble writing out my thoughts, and my real life got really busy as well. Up until then I was always quite angry with writers who didn't finish their stories, but then I became one of them (with only three written chapters). I hadn't realized how hard it was to write a story containing multiple chapters, and I bow to those who can. Because I got really busy, I kinda lost interest in fanfiction at the same time. In April 2016 I accidentally came upon a good fanfiction and I started reading it. When I completed reading that one, I started rereading my old favorites, although most of them are on hiatus or have been abandoned, sadly enough. Now I have decided to sometimes write short stories, because those are not as time-consuming as multi-chapter stories. The stories I like most are Harry Potter stories. In this category, you can throw anything at me, as long as you have strong arguments for the change you make. I like both the Dumbledore bashing and the nice Dumbledore stories, as well as Weasley bashing/nice Weasley stories. I often hear from people that the last 3 books are very different from the first 4, and "must have been written by another writer". Actually the first 4 were in a time of peace, while the latter were in a time of war. That should be a sufficient reason for a different style in the books. Also, during book 4, Harry was forced to grow up, because of the Tournament, and Voldemort returning. And apart from Quirrell and Flamel in book 1, and sort of Myrtle in book 2, though she was already dead, people actually start to die in the HP books. What I think about some of the HP characters: Harry: My favorite, of course. How couldn't he be in my favorites list? If you ever doubted this, please leave my profile and never come back :). Hermione: She's really smart and can figure stuff out years before anyone else in the books do. Her character is deep and can be used in very original ways. Ron: A bit shallow, but can be a true friend. However, it's also very easy to turn him into a whiny character, or a dumb or even an evil character. Ginny: This character can go multiple ways. You can take her loving side and make her a great character, supportive of every move Harry makes. You can also take her angry side, and write about her being angry/jealous all the time, being a total bitch. Or you can make her the obsessive fangirl. Whichever way a fanfiction writer chooses, I could imagine all sides without much of a change in character. Dumbledore: Dumbledore is very mysterious, and that's why writers can add so much to his character, making him really interesting. He can be Grindelwald's lover, who has faked Grindelwald's death and want to take over the world together with him, having created Voldemort as a puppet to make himself a hero. He can also be a sort of grandfather type to Harry, trying to give Harry the best life he can have. Or he can be someone who only cares for the light side and defeating Voldemort, having no interest in anyone. Snape: Also very interesting. You can easily use him in situations to create some humor, with his angry attitude he can create quite a smile. I really hated him in the books, until in book 7, where he was made out as the biggest hero of them all. I've never been able to think of him as a douchebag again. Luna: Really interesting character. With her weirdness she can easily turn very serious situations in the most hilarious ones you have ever read. She can also easily be turned into different kinds of character. What I think of some of the HP pairings: Hinny: This pairing can work, but do mind which side of Ginny is used, as mentioned before. Harmony: This pairing is, like it is called, a harmony. Harry and Hermione fit really well together. They have very much in common, Hermione was the only one to always stick by Harry, even in the darkest times. Romione: Sorry for the fans, but this pairing can't work. Ron is only interested in food and quidditch, while Hermione is interested in nearly everything except that. In a logical story, they can never be together. Dramione: Nope, definitely not possible. Both have to be way OOC to get to such a relationship. Anyway, it's almost always used as plotless lemon, which is a no-go. Another category which recently spiked my attention is the Danganronpa series. I have watched let's plays of all 4 main games, I bought all of them and played them, I watched all the anime (only anime I ever watched), and I've read 2 light novels so far. All the Danganronpa characters are quite interesting, and can be evolved into very great protagonists. Makoto Naegi: Great character, very interesting development, and easy to identify with. His constant hope should be a guideline for us all. Kyoko Kirigiri: Very mysterious, and also a very interesting development. The pain she has lived through is quite a good basis to write upon. If it wasn't for her, people would have died in the first chapter already. Mukuro Ikusaba: Also very mysterious, and there isn't a lot of information on her. What I do believe is that she was entangled in the Ultimate Despair plans because she felt she had to for abandoning the Mastermind, and because she supposed that the Mastermind was the only one who loved her. Deep inside she's good, but she was manipulated into helping the Mastermind. Leon Kuwata: The only character I really hate. He started it all. And I know how it happened, but I still can't forgive him for starting everything. Monokuma: Great bear, and can be quite surprising. His comments are almost always cracking a smile on my face. Chiaki Nanami: One of the best characters, partially because she's a gamer, but also because she's very nice and one of the smartest people in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. Pairings: Naegiri: Of course, biggest ship in the whole franchise. They fit perfectly together, completing each other at points where the other is lacking. Hinanami: Those two also fit together perfectly. They think in quite the same way. Recently I have registered myself as a beta reader, so if you need one, I'd be happy to help. I just finished a very good fanfic, and I realised I need a list of the best stories I have read. As much as this is a list for all of you, this list is also for me to keep track of my most favorite stories. I have only read a few Danganronpa stories, so the list will contain Harry Potter fanfics. Here we go:
