Soo...I realize that I haven't written in a long time. It's been almost three years since I've updated this profile, so I figured I should probably do that.

I'm in my senior year of college, which is crazy busy, and the love affair I had with Bones on Fox, as evidenced by my user name, is over. The show began sliding downhill in the fourth season (at least in my opinion) and now is extremely hard to watch. The characters are now one-dimensional versions of the deeply complex and complicated individuals they once were and the writing is often sophomoric, out for an easy laugh rather than deep emotions or ideas. While I occasionally write fanfic about it when I'm in the mood to write something (and I have another story I like started), I will no longer be updating "Two Hearts, One Mind," at least not in the near future. You probably could have guessed that, but there it is.

I first started coming on Fanfiction after one of my friends told me about it, and wanted me to read her story. I read her story, and then jumped right on over to the Bones section. I began reading it about about six years ago, and was instantly hooked. I started writing some of my own (I sometimes cringe when I look back on those early stories, they were so out of character) and finally decided to get my own account. That's my origin story, but then there was a looong hiatus. Very long, where school and life and work at a fast food restaurant got in the way.

I want to come back. I miss fanfiction--the writing and the reading and the obsessive fangirling over the stories that captured my heart and head and left me hanging on the edge of my seat in anticipation more often than not. But if I do, it will probably be for a different show, such as WGN America's Manhattan. While not historically accurate in terms of real world characters, the show places fictional characters within the setting of Los Alamos during the creation of the atomic bomb. It's an extremely well done show with major character development. It's on Hulu--watch it because you won't be disappointed. There currently isn't a fanfic category on here for it yet, but maybe I'll see if I can add one because I've got some ideas rolling around in my head that won't leave me alone.
