![]() Author has written 1 story for Batman. Quick facts about me: Let's get the important stuff out of the way, shall we? Words that describe me: male, cis, straight, Latino, metalhead, gamer, comic book nerd, INFJ, 28 years old. I'm a lowly substitute teacher by day, novelist by night. And I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, with a minor in Film. I'm currently working on a Master's in Education for Social Studies. Books are my life. Reading them, writing them, talking about them. In my English Literature studies, I focused on Gothic fiction, horror fiction, and creative writing. In my Film minor, I focused on screenwriting and editing. I like a good story, no matter what the medium, be it in books, movies, TV, comic books, or video games. But mostly comics and TV, which you might gather from reading my stories. My main project right now is One Bad Day. It's a retelling of Batman: Under the Red Hood from the perspective of Dora, my OC, so if you haven't seen that movie or read that comic, I highly suggest you do. Unfortunately, I don't post regularly. I usually post a burst of 3 or 4 chapters over the course of a few weeks, then I disappear for a few months. I'm in grad school, just don't have the time to write more often than that. Summer and December is when you'll find me posting new chapters and stories. Don't trust that join date up there. I've been on FF.net for more than a decade. This is actually where I first started writing. It was just Pokemon, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Buffy/Angel fics back then, but those stories were utter CRAP compared to what I write now, so there's no way I'm telling you guys my old account, lol. Good luck finding it. I have accounts on DeviantArt and AO3 with this name Rhoder and you can find me on Twitter and Tumblr as LyonRhodes. Watch and follow for updates! |
