Things Im sick of in Fanfiction.

1 Canon Regurgitation

Ok what is up with this I mean seriously I've seen a lot of this lately and it's annoying as hell the authors will make some change what this is varies from fanfic to fanfic but it always goes the same way the author makes a change... AND NOTHING IN THE STORY CHANGES they just spit out canon at us whatever change they made ends up being utterly pointless the characters thought process is the same, the characters actions are the same, the events are the same nothing changes at all they may as well make the characters an inch shorter or there hair a shade lighter for all the effect it has on the story honestly if I wanted to read the canon of the book, game, manga, whatever I'dd just go out and get it not wait around for someone to copy it and post it here.

2 Pairings

Alright I like a good romance story in fact I like romance however what I do not like is when I'm reading a awesome action/sci-fi story only for it to suddenly mutate into some drama/romance that bumps the rest of the story to the backburner for the next thirty chapters. If I wanted to read a romance story I'll go to the romance section and look for one there not the action section if I'm looking in the action section then it's a safe bet that I want to read an ACTION STORY not a damn romance. Honestly its not even the romance itself usually at least no it is the fact that the authors can't a) stop the romance part from spiraling out of control and hijacking the story or b) can't write a believable romance worth a damn which is not surprising at all because a believable romance is extremely hard to write. Still this does not change the fact that if I wanted romance I'd go to the romance section not anywhere else.

3 Time Travel

I love time travel stories however I hate how the majority of them are done and thats where the character goes back in time and does nothing!!! I mean holy hells the whole point of going back in time is to change things!!!!! Not sit around with your fingers up your ass letting everything play out the sameway for some stupid reason like keeping your future knowledge useful it's dumb as hell and like I already said I don't come here to reread canon.
