31 October 2017. I have revised Chapter 1 to clarify more of the "back-story." I managed to get Chapter 16 "close enough." Harry always fights the troll on Halloween his first year, right? It will likely be somewhat revised later this week.

4 November 2017. I have edited Chapters 1 and 2 to clarify later chapters. Chapters 4 and 11 should be edited Sunday.

5 November 2017, I've posted a new story. It's just a little bit of "fluff."

8 November 2017. Finally edited Chapter 11 to fix a continuity issue. Chapter 4 is yet to be done.

13 August 2018. I haven't worked on the story in a while. I updated Chapter 5 to fix a small continuity error. Hopefully my muse returns quickly.

I have another account "somewhere out there." I have found very few "sexual orientation swap" fan-fiction stories THAT WERE ANY GOOD. If a character is portrayed as "straight" by their original creator, VERY few fan-fiction authors provide a "persuasive" case in their writing for the change in sexual orientation. Fewer authors still attempt to portray "non-straight" characters as "straight." Like any other "change," the author needs to do a good job "justifying" their changes to get the reader to "suspend their disbelief" and enjoy the author's work.

"First Person" perspective is also amazingly difficult to write, particularly where the "source" material is not written in that perspective.

Many "Harry Potter Slash" stories also have "crack" pairings as well as poor writing. Even without the whole "sexual orientation" issue, who would willing have a sexual relationship with an adopted parent, the person who murdered their parents and wants to kill them as well, a school teacher who used to crush on one of your parents to an almost pathological degree, or a ponce whose first word to you were basically "your dead mother had it coming to her," really?

The story below is an attempt to write a "first person sexual orientation swap" fan-fiction with a pairing that would make some sense in canon. How well or poorly done this is, I leave to your judgement.

Summary: After the "Girl Who Conquered"'s crazy girlfriend ambushed DOM Battle Mage Ron Weasley, he had hoped that he was back in his original dimension, even if he was obliged to "start from conception" yet again. Resolved to do his best this time, he charges ahead. But he discovers that he should have learned a LOT more about that rare magical mystery, the "Soul Bond." Now, living with two Soul Bonds, and affected by two more, he has the future of the wizarding world both in his hands and between his legs. He is now the "chosen one" of a "Chosen One" far stronger yet far more fragile than he had ever imagined. Can Ron put all the pieces together while protecting all of his loved ones? Or, will all the pieces blow up in his face? The prophecy only said that "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches," not that the Chosen One would actually succeed.

The "favorites" on this profile have inspired some of the ideas in the story I've posted. I believe that even if my story is not to your liking, their stories MIGHT be.

October 17, 2017. I edited Chapter 3 to fix a continuity error, and clean up 'Healer vs Mediwizard.' Some fanfiction authors criticize Madam Pomfrey, whom they presume to be a nurse because of her clothing and working at a school, did not provide proper medical care, usually to and for Harry Potter. While you need to "dig" for it, in "canon," Madam Pomfrey is actually the wizarding equivalent of a Muggle Medical Doctor.

Character study, "Ronald Bilius Weasley." In this story, "Ron" is based heavily on canon up to the age of 56. His next influence is a world quite similar to the one "Ron" experiences in "The Red Knight," by "Demon Eyes Laharl." However, it is NOT an "identical" universe, since his story is still a WIP. He leaves that 'second' lifetime at the hands of the second world's "Hermione Granger" at the age of twenty five. In this universe, while he worked enough at WWW to understand the culture of "The Alley," he spent most of his adult working life battling criminals and Dark Wizards and Witches. Between lingering guilt over his mistakes in his first childhood, and his inability to actually directly help Azalea Harriet Potter in his second lifetime, his drive and resolve to help the "Harry Potter" of this third lifetime has limits far lower than this "third Harry" will ever encounter. He also appreciates his family, and despite all the jobs he has before Hogwarts is not really concerned or envious about money or material possessions. While he could have dressed far nicer than Draco Malfoy for the trip on the Hogwarts Express, he was dressed IDENTICALLY to what he wore on that trip in the "first lifetime." Having experienced eighty-one years of life prior to this lifetime, he doesn't even try to hide his talents so much. Rather, he tries to "play them off" as "normal." He "thinks" he has been more or less successful to now. Since this story is entirely in his point-of-view in a way similar to a diary or journal, you won't see what's coming any better than he does. "Hand-Cast Ronnie" will become much more visible once Ron returns to regular classes. He also doesn't truly realize how magically powerful he has become, and won't for at least a while longer.
