Hola!

I'm Claude, a 6th form student from England.

I enjoy anime, manga, sci-fi, lit criticism, theatre, tennis, figure skating, socialist history, Latin, classical drama and my computer.

I don't really have a role model but I have afflictions (read: obsession) with Rafa Nadal, Leon Trotsky and Kanon from An Cafe. I agree with the ideas of Atlee and like the ideals of Marx.

I speak Spanish badly and read Latin even worse. I am a humanities student through and thought with dubious political ambition (only kidding. No honestly I am! Well, I'm half joking!). I’m a hard worker who enjoys learning and you can normally find me holed up with a new book or on the tennis courts.

I study classics, history, English, philosophy + ethics and politics at A2. What I don't like is people who write how much of a genius/intelligent they are in their profiles because it just sets you up for a fall when you make spelling/grammar errors. I will willingly admit that I could possibly win an award for worst speller and that spell check saved my life although I really do try! Having said that, I have just been appointed Head Girl which makes me very happy (see dubious political ambitions!)

I don't really like OC fics and although I will read het if I like the pairing, which isn't often, you will mostly find me reading yaoi and yuri. However, I am challenging myself to create an OC fic without turning the character into a Sue, mainly because this is something I have never done before!

I’m most likely to be found in the Prince of Tennis fandom but I do pop into others. The only pairing I don’t like is perfect (tezfuj) but my favourite is Silver and anything that involves Mizuki.

I finally made my first PoT AMV!! It's a parody of Gravitataion I made using the Band of Princes video. Am feelign very proud of myself. If you want to check it out, you can here on my youtube account (which for some reason says I'm 42 and I can't work out how to chnage it!)

FIC UPDATES Date: 5th April 2009

Havn't been on here for ages am still into fanfiction, just havn't had any inspiration for a while. Have mostly been kicking around in SPN and Merlin fandoms (yes, more slash!) and am not really confident enough to write wincest and not make it completly crap. Anyway some of you may notice I deleted Not As Hard As It Looks. Was a really hard desicion to make because it had 33,000 hits and quite a few reveiws so I knew lots of people liked it (can't think why, it was absolutely dreadfully written!) but I was never going to finish it and it was bad bad writing. So sorry if you liked it! AQnyway, things I am going to do:

1. Finish the rewrite on a pillar one shot with one sided thrill. Isn't that great as there is not enough dialogue but I'll publish it anyway. Aiming date: 10th April

2. Publish crack Silver pair Illiad parod y, probably first to LJ. Again, most likly a one shot. Aiming date: 20th April

3. Write a silver AU Wimbledon fic. Aiming date: Chapter a day throughout Wimbledon fortnight

4. Finish Centre Court. Aiming date: By uni (aka Oct 11th!)

Well that is about all I can think of!
