As you may have guessed from my handle, I'm a chemistry major. I am also a Trekkie, a CSI nut,and an extreme Lord of the Rings geek--preferably book-verse. I take a dim view of Mary Sues, breaking up canonical pairings, overblown angst, and failure to use spell check. I'm not a huge fan of graphic romance either, especially not slash. A well-written OC is a thing of joy. I always appreciate constructive criticism; flames will be used to light my bunsen burner, as I hate matches.
