Miyaki Ayame was just a half Oni living with her sister in the far North of Japan when she found two strangers retreating from battle. She stumbled upon a third man who might as well have been dead. She saved his life and he saves hers.

Taking place shortly after Zuko and Katara speak in the Crystal Catacombs, this story opens with Zuko choosing to side with the Avatar against his sister. Rated M for mature content, including graphic violence and adult themes. Complete.

Koga/Kagome - When she couldn't pick up the pieces she had been broken into, he was there to help her put them back together. He was her savior, her knight in shining armor. She loved him for that.

Katara is princess of the Southern Water Tribe and Zuko is prince of the Fire Nation. Katara recently had her 16th birthday, and is now of marrying age. A peace offering is made to settle the war between the two nations and it will bring the two together.
