Another post-BOTFA Bella/Thorin reunion. Bella is not, as she assumed, a perfectly normal Hobbit. She's a descendant of a Fae and since she's the one who found the Circlet of the Queen, she's the ruler of Farasail. Not that this matters much. What did matter was getting to Thorin. It's only after she gets there that she realizes her plan isn't so well thought out. AU, Fem!Bilbo

Bilbo is astonished to discover that Fili and Sigrid are to marry after only meeting once. He learns just how vastly different Dwarven courting customs are to Hobbits'.

Where Thorin is water, deep and vast and unpredictable as the sea, Dwalin is fire. Or, well, something equally burning, for the passionate scalding heat of volcanoes is actually made of molten rock and stone (or so her father's books claim, and how fit would that be for such a rock-skulled dwarrow). Either way, Bilbo is terribly, hopelessly, ridiculously in love with them.

He hated it, because dwarven prince is not supposed to be beautiful or pretty; dwarven prince is supposed to be resourceful and skilled in battle, they told him ever since he was a small dwarfling.
