Izuku's Quirk manifest at the tender age of five. It's strange that he would have a fire Quirk given what his mother's Quirk is, but he chalks it up to genetics on his father's side. A week later, there's a (familiar) stranger in the kitchen, and everything changes.

All Might tell Midoriya he can't be a hero when he's quirkless. Does that stop the green bean? Nope. Finding an abandoned toddler in an alleyway wasn't on his to do list though. But no one cared enough to care if he adopted the kid or not. And if anyone thought something small like a villainous quirk was enough to put Midoriya off, then they were very, very wrong.

After unintentionally eavesdropping on a private conversation between All Might and Midoriya, Kyoka Jiro learns about 'One For All'. Desperate for answers, the young heroine decides to take matters into her own hands and get to bottom of it. (Disclaimer: I don't own BNHA in any capacity.)

This is a story the tries to answer the question, what if Izuku decided to get a little more serious about becoming a hero a little earlier than cannon. He meets Tsuyu of all people after a particularly soul crushing beating from Bakugou, but Tsuyu manages to relight his determination. Strong but not OP Izuku, Main pairing IzuTsuyu since I freakin love it. Rated M for language.

It has driven him to restless obsession. But he is still Midoriya Izuku, and he will be a hero, whether his quirk cooperates or not... Even if it means resorting to vigilantism.

One for All. A quirk whose power was unmatched, always growing from one person to the next. Midoriya Izuku was the definition of this quirk. That day, the Slime Villain did not fall out All Might's pocket. Midoriya runs into a man with a proposal to help but how? Midoriya must train his hardest, he still wants to be a hero but how far will he go?

"You, who holds so much potential, are always limited. I want to see what you do when those limits are removed from the equation." And with those words, Zelretch altered a world. With those words, a Hero was born.

All men are not created equal. This is a simple truth Izuku has known ever since he first realized what it meant to have a quirk like his; one that forces him to consume human flesh to survive.
