Snatched without warning, twenty-four teenagers wake in an unfamiliar place. The routine of the annual reaping has been voided; and the randomized tributes find themselves waking in the arena with little idea of where they are. But as the stolen uncover the secrets of the arena, they begin to learn more about themselves. And how maybe, their selection was not so random after all.
