![]() Author has written 1 story for Rise of the Guardians, and Frozen. Every novel is an answer to the ancient plea, "Tell us a story." -Pamela Brown I don't feel very comfortable giving out a bunch of information about myself, but here's some general qualities that I most likely share with many other people in the world: 1) I love Lord of the Rings. It is my favorite book/movie series in the world, and it has been my obsession for more than a decade. (Due to this obsession, I know how to read/write/speak Elvish. You read that right. Now move along.) 2) I love music. All music. Well, most music. 3) Reading is my favorite hobby. 4) I try not to have "favorite" things, because then you can only stick to that one thing forever, and my "favorites" change day by day. Today, for example, my favorite color is blue. Tomorrow, it might be orange. Who knows? 5) If you don't understand my extremely clever references to television shows (especially Seinfeld, Doctor Who, Spongebob Squarepants, Sherlock and Psych), we have less of a chance of being friends. 6) As you can see from my fifth point, I will always have the mind of a 12 year old. Always. "Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, "Do it again"; and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, "Do it again" to the sun; and every evening, "Do it again" to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we." -G.K. Chesterton (my homeboy) |
