Inspired by Coeur Al'Aran's Professor Arc story, this asks the simple question: What if Jaune had actually attended the Vacuo Academy for Gifted Youths as he claimed? Between a fake resume, a sociopath for a partner, criminal contacts, White Fang agents, and overall bad luck... it's going to take everything he's got keep his cover at Beacon.

When Jaune Arc was just a small child, his mother gave him a tiny seed to grow and nurture as a way to learn responsibility. His father gave him a useless Dust Shard to study power and focus. Only problem, the little Arc had wrongly misinterpreted their lessons and ended up creating Remnant's one and only Dust-Dust Fruit.

Jaune liked to believe that he was born to become a hero like his forefathers. Ironically, his reality couldn't be anymore different. He was born weak, without talent and fate had cursed him with an ability that was useless against the enemies of humanity. However, Jaune never really cared for reality, after all, his reality was merely an illusion.

"Sometimes, it can be hard for a man to ask for help, even he desperately needs it." Kirishima is diagnosed with a disease and struggles with his identity as a man and Hero when he discovers he suddenly cannot protect his friends. How will he cope with the potential end of his Hero career and, maybe, even his life? Who will he turn to? Who can he turn to?

Kirishima is hit by a quirk that leaves him fully aware, but completely unable to move. His friends make it a little bit better.
