My name's Katie, and I'm mostly here to satiate my interest in reading, rather than writing. I tried the writing thing for a while. It didn't work. I have an odd tendency to forget the plot and stumble about in the dark each chapter or update. So, needless to say, nothing I wrote was fun to read, or fun to write. Unless you want me to post a top-notch essay on the Great Depression or the symbolism in Siddhartha, I'll just stick to reading. (I'm damn good at essays and papers for school, just not fiction)

Every once in a while, I'm bitten by the inspiration bug and attempt writing one again. But, to no avail. It all sucks anyway.

My interests are far and wide. I'll watch anything from Pocohantes to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind to Night at the Museum 2. I'll read anything from Harry Potter to Atonement to Twilight (sadly, I just wasn't strong enough to resist the temptation).
