Author has written 1 story for Phantom of the Opera.

A/N: I've been really busy for the past...year!!!! I'm sooooo sorry that I haven't been able to update Erik's Innocence, but I'm working on a few new chapters that (hopefully!) will be up soon.

Your loving authoress - Ashley :)

Name: Ashley

Favorite Movies: Phantom of the Opera, RENT, Poseidon, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Memoirs of a Geisha, La Vie en Rose, Moulin Rouge, Bella, Pride and Prejudice, Love Comes Softly series, and Pirates of the Caribbean(of course!!!)

Favorite Activities: I live a pretty well-rounded life...I dance 2 hours every day with a ballet academy, I sing 4 times a week (once with a voice teacher and 3 times during show rehearsals!), and I'm an actress always trying to find something new to be in.

Here are a few of my favorite movie quotes...

RENT -

Maureen: You always said how lucky we you were that we were all friends. But it was us, baby, who were the lucky ones.

Mimi: sung Excuse me, did I do something wrong? I get invited then ignored all night long!

Gordon: I'm a New Yorker. Fear's my life.

(Psssst! I'm a New Yorker :))

Roger and Mark: (on answering machine) speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

Mimi and Joanne: I'd be happy to die fro a taste of what Angel had! Someone to live for, unafraid to say I love you!

Joanne: sung she cheated!

Mark: sung she cheated!

Joanne: sung Maureen cheated!

Mark: sung Fucking cheated!

Mimi: It's right, that today's Halloween. It was her favorite holiday. I knew we'd hit it off the moment we met. There was this skinhead that was harassing her. And she walked right up to him and said. “I’m more of a man than you’ll ever be- and more of a woman than you'll ever get."

Mimi: sung the heart may freeze or it can burn. The pain will ease if I can learn... there is no future. There is no past. I live this moment as my last! There’s only us... there's only this. Forget regret, or life is yours to miss. No other road... no other way. No day but today...

Memoirs of a Geisha:

Mameha: (in voiceover) Remember, Chiyo, geisha are not courtesans. And we are not wives. We sell our skills, not our bodies. We create another secret world, a place only of beauty. The very word "geisha" means artist and to be a geisha is to be judged as a moving work of art.

Narrator (old Sayuri): The heart dies a slow death, shedding hopes like leaves. Until one day there are none.

Narrator (old Sayuri): as Chiyo watches the Chairman leave with another geisha in that moment, I changed from a girl facing nothing but emptiness, to someone with purpose. I saw that to be a geisha could be a stepping stone to something else... a place in his world.

Sayuri Nitta: She paints her face to hide her face. Her eyes are deep water. It is not like geisha to want. It is not for geisha to feel. Geisha is an artist of the floating world. She dances, she sings. She entertains you, whatever you want. The rest is shadows, the rest is secret.

Narrator (old Sayuri): You cannot say to the sun, "more sun." or to the rain, "less rain." To a man, geisha can only be half a wife. We are the wives of nightfall. And yet, to learn kindness after so much unkindness, to understand that a little girl with more courage than she knew would find her prayers were answered, can that not be called happiness? After all these are not the memoirs of an empress, not of a queen. These are the memoirs of another kind.

The Phantom of the opera:

Christine: Think of me, think of me waking silent and resigned. Imagine me, trying too hard to put you from my mind. Recall those days look back on all those times, think of the things we'll never do - there will never be a day, when I won't think of you.

Erik: slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor. Grasp it; sense it - tremulous and tender. Turn your face away from the garish light of day, turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light - and listen to the music of the night.

Erik: Past the point of no return. No backward glances... our games of make-believe are at an end! Past all thought of if or when. No use resisting... abandon thought and let the dream descend! What raging fire shall flood the soul? What rich desire unlocks its door? What sweet seductions lie before us?

Erik: Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime. Lead me, save me from my solitude. Say you'll want me with you here beside you. Anywhere you go let me go too. Christine, that's all I ask of... (Christine pulls off his mask)

(Dun, dun-dun-dun-dun-duuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! ahem, sorry!)

Christine: Angel of music, you've deceived me. I gave you my mind blindly.

Christine: I remember there was mist. Swirling mist upon a vast glassy lake. There were candles all around and on the lake there was a boat. And in the boat there was a man...

[Oo la-la!!! ;)

Erik: It's over now the music of the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moulin Rouge -

Toulouse-Lautrec: The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Christian and Satine: Come what may, I will love you until my dying day.

Satine: What's his type? Wilting flower? Bright and bubbly? Or smoldering temptress?
Zidler: I'd say... smoldering temptress.

Christian: Can't fall in love? But a life without love, that's terrible.

Argentinean: We have a dance in the brothels of Buenos Aires. It tells the story of the prostitute and a man who falls in love with her. First, there is desire. Then, passion. Then, suspicion. Jealousy. Anger. Betrayal. When love is for the highest bidder, there can be no trust. Without trust, there can be no love. Jealousy, yes, jealousy will drive you mad.

Zidler: Outside it may be raining, but in here it's entertaining.

Satine: The French are glad to die for love. They delight in fighting duels. But I prefer a man who lives... and gives expensive... jewels.

Toulouse-Lautrec: Things aren't always as they seem.
Christian: Things are exactly the way they seem.

Toulouse-Lautrec: He's got a huge... talent.

Christian[singing His eyes upon your face. His hand upon your hand. His lips caress your skin. It's more than I can stand! Why does my heart cry? Feelings I can't fight... you're free to leave me, but just don't deceive me, and please believe me when I say I love you!
