Sookie has made her decision. Eric is alone with nothing but a millennium of thoughts and a date with the sun. This was originally written as a One Shot but has progressed to much more. Sookie has become vampire to be with Eric, however, their lives together begin riddled with problems. I try to stick to canon for the first 9 books as much as possible.

What if... Eric was the vampire charged with investigating the local telepath? How would that change Sookie's experience with vampires? How would it impact their relationship?

My idea of what could happen after Dead and Gone. Where was Eric when Sookie needed him most? How will our lovely Southern Heroine survive the new dangers around her? T for now, M for later.
