Icon by Yours Truly, McKirk goodness all around~

Well hey! It seems you have come upon my profile. Yay?

Not much to me, just another girl who just so happens to fancy writing...a lot. Original stories, fan fiction, you name it. I enjoy writing of all sorts. Another pleasure of mine is reading both books and other fan fiction. Yes, even bad ones too. Why would I ever dare to read the most god-awful works in the history of mankind? They make me laugh more than conceivably possible.

Oh, yeah, I live in Maine. You know, that section of Canada...that's actually part of the United States.

Ahem, now onto other things!

About My Fics (If Ever Posted):

Introduction:

For the most part my fics will be either drabbles or, on occasion, one shots. All attempts at full works have sadly failed. Due in part by the fact that writing a full story with dozens of chapters + my procrastination = something that is never getting finished. So until I get off my lazy ass and start being serious about writing such a thing, it's not happening. Trust me, I probably would get pleasure out of doing a project of that extent; which is the reason I desire to get over my obstacle.

I would also like to mention an apparent fact that many seem to dismiss—I am not an expert on every specific rule within the art of writing. While I put in my best effort to improve my grammatical, punctuation, and spelling accuracy, I will slip up. Instead of snapping at me for doing so, I would prefer if you would just point it out and suggest ways to improve upon the mistake. The exception being spelling errors, which I believe I can figure out myself.

Star Trek: TOS has been a consistent passion of mine for a full year. Yes, not as impressive as other fans, but still. Hence, I may just indulge myself into writing for that fandom. Doctor Who fics could possibly show up at any given time, the revival of the series taking center stage within them. Because let's face it, David Tennant and Matt Smith are just fantastic!

What exactly do I write?

Slash, oh glorious slash. How I love to read it, how I love to write it. Why? In all honesty, het pairings bore me. They just, in my opinion, are not as intriguing. Although I'll admit to enjoying a few. Femslash is another liking.

The themes of angst, friendship, and romance will be in most of my stories. With pure fluff thrown in on occasion.

What exactly do I not write?

I will never write smut fics (though I do enjoy reading them, if that makes sense). Not here to provide you with porn, thanks.

By The Way:

Spock/Kirk is my OTP. There are others, but I don't believe you want read a page worth of pairings. That's right, a page.

Spock has told Kirk time and again that he could not return his affections so long as Kirk was unwilling to commit to him completely. Not used to rejection, Kirk turns to his admiring navigator. Fill for LiveJournal's TOS kink meme.

This is a sequel to Fever Dreams and probably makes best sense if you read that one it will also spoil Fever Dreams if you haven't read it yet . Fever Dreams might turn out happy, or it might not. This is a look at a might not scenario.

Memory is a tricky thing. So's love. This is TOS Spock-Chapel fic. A bit of an angst-fest for a holiday offering. Oh well, it's what the muse wanted to write.
