When Burt has another heart attack Blaine has to help his husband Kurt deal with the very likely death of his father. This is set in the future, when Kurt and Blaine live in NY, are married and have kids.

Kurt and Blaine desperately wanted a family of their own. They just hadn't realized that becoming fathers would so difficult. Klaine. Futurefic.

"Blaine Anderson was not jealous. No, sir, he most certainly wasn't. especially because being jealous implied that he was also… And that wasn't the case. Was it?" Blaine realizes he has feelings for Kurt litterally five minues too late.

Blaine put the past behind him, telling Kurt to have the courage he couldn't. But the worst happened anyway, and Kurt is left broken. Now Blaine has to pick up the pieces, but if he couldn't have the courage three years ago, how can he do it now? Klaine.

'And, at the same time, Blaine and Burt tore their eyes from the body of the boy they'd both loved; one, as a son, and the other, as his everything. Those sightless eyes continued to stare upwards, at the heaven that they didn't believe in.'
