She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing A guy and a girl were speeding over 100km on a motorcyle. Girl: Slow down! Guy: No this is fun! Girl: No it's not! Please, it's way to scary! Guy: Then tell me you love me. Girl: I love you. Now slow down. Guy: Now give me a big hug. She gave him a big hug. Guy: Can you take off my helmet and put it on yourself? It's bothering me. In the newspaper, the next day, a motorcyle crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on it and only one survived. The truth was, that half way down the road the guy realized his breaks were out and he didn't want the girl to know. Instead, he had her hug him and tell him she loved him one last time. Then he had her put his helmet on so she would live even if it meant he would die. If you would do the same for the person you love, copy and paste this into your profile Dear bullies, See that girl you just called fat? She is starving herself. This didn't happen to me, but it touched me, so here you are I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The cashier said, "I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll." Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?'' The old lady replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.'' Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. "It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her." I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her afterall, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly, "No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there." His eyes were so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.'' My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: "I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall." Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me, "I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister." Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. "Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?'' "OK," he said, "I hope I do have enough." I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: "Thank you God for giving me enough money!" Then he looked at me and added, "I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!'' "I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.'' "My mommy loves white roses." A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him. Pizza delivery is ranked as the 5th most dangerous job behind: military, police officers, stunt performers and firefighters... Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of "There's a light at the end of the hallway." "I don't see it." "That's because your eyes are closed." One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.' I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives.' He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!' There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes.We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him. Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!' He just laughed and handed me half the books. Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak. Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous! Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!' He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. 'Thanks,' he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began, 'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach... but mostly your friends... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story.' I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. 'Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.' I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and Dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize it's depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others. You now have two choices, you can : 1) Put this on your profile or 2) Forget you read this and act like it didn't touch your heart. As you can see, I took choice number 1. Fiction isn't just stories. It's seeing things that other don't.(Mortal Instruments) It's standing up for what's right. (Hunger Games) It's breaking through barriers. (The Maze Runner) It's learning the truth of sacrifice. (Harry Potter) It's discovering your inner hero. (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) It's accepting your destiny. (The Lunar Chronicles An atheist professor of philosophy asks one of his new students to stand. "You're a Christian, aren't you, son?" "Yes, sir," the student says. "So you believe in God?" "Absolutely." "Is God good?" "Sure! God's good." "Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?" "Yes." Now the professor asks, "Are you good or evil?" "The Bible says I'm evil," replies the student. The professor grins knowingly. "Aha! The Bible!" He considers for a moment. "Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?" "Yes, sir, I would." "So you're good…!" "I wouldn't say that." "But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't." The student does not answer, so the professor continues. "He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?" The student remains silent. "No, you can't, can you?" the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax. "Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?" "Er… yes," the student says. "Is Satan good?" The student doesn't hesitate on this one. "No." "Then where does Satan come from?" The student falters. "From God," he answers after a few moments. "That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?" "Yes, sir." "Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?" "Yes." "So who created evil?" The professor continued, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil." Again, the student has no answer. "Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?" The student squirms on his feet. "Yes." "So who created them?" The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. "Who created them?" There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. "Tell me," he continues onto another student. "Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?" The student's voice betrays him and cracks. "Yes, professor, I do." The old man stops pacing. "Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?" "No, sir. I've never seen Him." "Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?" "No, sir, I have not." "Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?" "No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't." "Yet you still believe in him?" "Yes." "According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?" "Nothing," the student replies. "I only have my faith." "Yes, faith," the professor repeats. "And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith." The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his own. "Professor, is there such thing as heat?" "Yes," the professor replies. "There's heat." "And is there such a thing as cold?" "Yes, son, there's cold too." "No, sir, there isn't." The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. "You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest, minus 458 degrees. "Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it." Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer. "What about darkness, professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?" "Yes," the professor replies without hesitation. "What is night if it isn't darkness?" "You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. "In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?" The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. "So what point are you making, young man?" "Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed." The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. "Flawed? Can you explain how?" "You are working on the premise of duality," the student explains. "You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. "Sir, science can't explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it. "Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from monkeys?" "If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do." "Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?" The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed. "Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an ongoing endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?" The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided. "To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean." The student looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?" The class breaks out into laughter. "Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir. "So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?" Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. "I guess you'll have to take them on faith." "Now, you accept that there is faith, and in fact, faith exists with life," the student continues. "Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?" Now uncertain, the professor responds, "Of course, there is. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil." To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light." The professor sat down. This is a really sad poem someone wrote. I didn't write it though. Mommy...Johnny brought a gun to school, He told his friends that it was cool, And when he pulled the trigger back, It shot with a great, huge crack. Mommy, I was a good girl, I did what I was told, I went to school, I got straight A's, I even got the gold! When I went to school that day, I never said good-bye. I'm sorry that I had to go, But Mommy, please don't cry. When Johnny shot the gun, he hit me and another, And all because Johnny, got the gun from his brother. Mommy, please tell Daddy; That I love him very much, And please tell my boyfriend; That it wasn't just a crush. And tell my little sister; That she is the only one now, And tell my dear sweet grandmother; I'll be waiting for her now And tell my wonderful friends; That they always were the best Mommy, I'm not the first, I'm no better than the rest Mommy, tell my teachers; I won't show up for class, And never to forget this, And please don't let this pass Mommy, why'd it have to be me? No one, though. deserves this. But mommy, it's not fair, I left without a kiss. And Mommy tell the doctors; I know that they really did try I think I even saw one doctor, trying not to cry. Mommy, I'm slowly dying, with a bullet in my chest, But Mommy please remember, I'm in heaven with the rest When I heard that great, big crack, I ran as fast as I could please listen to me if you would, I wanted to go to college, I wanted to try things that were new I guess I'm not going with Daddy, On that trip to the new zoo I wanted to get married, I wanted to have a kid, I wanted to be an actress, I really wanted to live. But Mommy I must go now, The time is getting late, Mommy, tell my boyfriend, I'm sorry to cancel the date. I love you Mommy, I always have, I know you know its true And Mommy all I need to say is, "Mommy, I love you" So, Please if you would, If you pass this on, Maybe people will cry and remember how blessed they truly are, Just keep this in your heart, For the people who didn't get to say "Goodbye" Fi yuo cna raed tihs, yuo hvae a sgtrane mnid. I might cuss because it's a habit i picked up fdom my father how taught my just about every swear word known to man before i entered third grade. You see my parents are divorced and while me and my little sister usually are at my moms, our dad does, somehow, still have partial custody of us. He never really had a permanent house, or a permanent wife for that matter but that's beside the point, for a bit we lived with my aunt on my moms side and she had a tendency to think that her little boys were angels and that we, me my sister and our absent father, were children of the devil. I don't like my father much. He just got off his fourth wife which was the third longest lasting one ever making it almost two years. My mom was the first and they made it fourteen years but divorced when I was six. The second wife lasted two years and acted like my aunt. She has five different children all with different last names. Once the youngest one was bugging me so I pushed her then went upstairs, when I was half way up she ran up the stairs, shoves me down them, and told her mom that I had pushed her and that it hurt so much. I ended up getting in trouble for pushing her. Not a word about her shoving me down the fucking stairs. Yeah the the third one lasted two weeks. Not even going to say what happened their. That brings us wife number four who already had hour children, all of them boys, the oldest one being my age and then they just got younger from there. The youngest is currently two. So she was really nice at first but after they got married we moved into Indiana, a good ways away from our mom's house. She changed my dad a lot. They both became really religious like maybe if they acted amazing it could cover the blackness of their hearts. I mean the kind of religious where any books with magic or an alternate set of gods were mention were banned. It also meant that I had to wear a skirt the majority of the time. It sucked because I barely had enough clothes when I could wear shorts. None of my clothes fit. Eventually we moved out and we bounced from house to house with an eight person family in a five person car that badly needed washing. Now he finally has got a steady house and is trying to get to know us better. My sister welcomed him with open arms but I can't trust him just yet. He missed too much and betrayed my trust one too many times. Well there's my sob story. It isn't as bad as it could be, I mean it's not like he beats us or starved us (though with how attentive he is it would be easy to starve myself) but to me the constant moving and changing and the mess he calls his life hurts like needles. You see I'm like annabeth. I want to build something permanent because I hate change. I have found that I am addicted to leo angst so if you find a good one, tell me. Please check out LoneAuthoress, the best writer other than the great troll god himself, ThatWeirdGreekyLatino, the best Solangelo writer ever, and Myra109, the best angst writer ever. They are all amazing writers. Everyone still reading this give yourself cookie!!!!!!!!!!!! (: :) Ok but be warned that my updates will be slow and sometimes close to non-existent, kind of like my love life!!!!! I forgot every one meet my OC!!!!!!!!!! Say hello Elisabeth!!! Elisabeth: hello Elisabeth Elisabeth!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry she's annoyed with me because I made her backstory tragic. So please meet her formally Name- Elisabeth, she doesn't use her last name Age- 14 Godly Parent- Athena Mortal parent- Jamie Hair- light honey blonde like all children of Athena, waist length, usually in a braid Eyes- large blueish grayish with long dark lashes Skin Color- very, very pale Height- 5'11 3/4" and proud of it Scars- small horizontal scar under her left eye from the battle with Gaea Tattoos- small owl in flight carrying crossed daggers at the small of her back. she wont say when she got Piercings- small silver owl studs in the normal place Powers- no prominent powers but is very smart and has the normal smartness and battle strategy of an Athenian. Also is crazy good with her daggers and can hit the bull's eye of a moving target with a throwing knife at 300 yards Weaknesses- doesn't do well in large groups, doesn't like people in general, can't stand people named Rosie though that might be called a strength when it comes to monsters named Rosie. Holds a grudge Fatal Flaw- too trusting and loyal Sexuality- bisexual but no one knows yet Personality- introverted and seems cruel and uncaring to those who she isn't close to but is actually very loving to those whom she trusts. Her mind is broken from being betrayed so many times and from forcing herself to grow up so soon, she is usually good at holding herself together, but the better you get to know her, the easier it is to see the cracks in her mind. Also goes ballistic when her friends are threatened and will kill without even batting an eye if it means saving her friends. Voice- very quiet and seemingly calm but when she gets angry she starts to shout and is very sarcastic. But when she's really angry she'll get deadly quiet a grind her teeth together in an effort not to scream curse words in six different languages. Weapons- twin daggers, one made of celestial bronze named Sophia the other made of silver named Luna. Become twin bracelets made of silver ,one on each arm, they look like silver chains wrapped around her arm from wrist to elbow also has an assortment of bronze and silver throwing knifes. Short backstory- grew up moving from home to home with her father until he remarried when she was five. She hated her step mom who treated her like schist. She wanted to run away but stayed to help her little sister, Rosie who was born when she was six. Even though she was so young, Elisabeth loved Rosie with her entire being and refused to leave her in order to run away. Eventually when she was twelve the monsters started coming. Her step Mom hated her even more now for endangering her "baby girl" like Elisabeth would ever purposefully hurt Rosie. Then came the dracnea. Several of them attacked her house at once. One of them ended up in Rosie's room and a different one accidently started a fire. Elisabeth ran but she glanced back over her shoulder and saw the dracnea all leaving the bonfire that used to be her house, they were laughing at a small bundle that one of them was holding. Only later did she realise that that bundle was the same size as Rosie when she was sleeping. Two months later Elisabeth shows up at camp and refuses to tell anyone her last name or how she got to camp. At camp she found her daggers and started to train. She came two years in to the second titan war and escaped both the battle of New York and the battle against gaea with only a few scratches. She still has no idea what happened to Rosie. Interesting fact- on her first quest she met a dracnea named Rosie and gutted it in five seconds the spent an hour crying because she pictures the dracnea becoming her sister right before she gutted it. Languages- knows English as her first language but took spanish and Italian in school. Picked up Greek and Latin from around camp and is now attempting to learn french. Archetype- grew up too fast Wow now you see why she's annoyed with me. Okay meet my sister's OC Name-Rain no known last name Age-15 Godly Parent-Zeus Mortal parent- not known Hair-bright blue, always wears it in a high ponytail mid back Eyes- electric blue Skin color-very pale Height-5' Scars-running straight through the eyebrow Tattoos-a Dragon on left shoulder blade Piercings-ears in three places, and bellybutton Powers-lightnigh and flying Weaknesses-hates people who don't know the first thing about fashion, scared to death of moths Fatal Flaw-not yet known Weapons-sword made of imperial gold, that if it cuts you, it will never heal Short Backstory-was abandoned in an alleyway in the pouring rain as a child, left with no mother, or name when she was one. Was found by an elderly couple who took care of her until she turned twelve when a satyr for her to camp half blood. Interesting fact-can get very sensitive about basically everything Archetype- child-like and innocent For me, my life has always been a fight between something I cannot change and something I believe in. I am queer, but my religion tells me that queers aren't natural. I love my life and the people in it, but I can't seem to love myself enough to not try to get away from it. I don't have anyone close enough to me to help me talk through it all, but I'm constantly shoving everyone away from me. I wish that I had a father who cares for me like he was supposed to, but I can't bring myself to open up to the one I do have. My grades are perfect, I'm healthy, I play an instrument, i have an amazing boyfriend, but i cant help wishing that i was anybody other than me. Ive had no giant traumas in my life, but I cant stop the feelings of sadness and helplessness that are drowning me. Can someone please tell me how to make it stop? PM me if you've actually managed to read this crazy-long profile, and I will add your name to the list: Atruxdragneel Author169 Demigod-Wizard-Gatekeeper ThatWeirdGreekyLatino Robotech275 | |||||||
