Author has written 20 stories for Sims, Mario, and Five Nights at Freddy´s.

Hi! -

I'm Great Mistake. Here's some information about me:

I've been writing ever since I was very young, but I'm still learning! I give constructive criticism to all those who want it, and if I leave a review on your story then it's most likely a lengthy one! I have a fascination with creative writing, general science, video games, and fun things in general. Writing is more of a passtime for me, rather than an aspiring career - but it's something I have a deep passion for.

My stories revolve around Mario, but I'll jump around, too.

I have a talent for getting too deep into things, especially when it comes to Mario-related stuff.

I'll read whatever I like, but I always do take a look at the profiles of those who leave a review on my works. So, if I leave a review on one of your stories, it's also a thank you!

My ultimate goal is to open up a betareading account on here once my skills have improved! But until then, feel free to PM me about anything regarding writing - I'm always happy to help!

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and my writing style definitely shows that in a few ways. I like to use realism in all my fan fictions, so they may portray characters in adult situations or realistic situations. Most of my stories have some grit or dark undertones. I write one-shots more than I write multi-chaptered fics, as longer stories aren't my my strong suit.

I welcome constructive criticism with open arms, so feel free to leave constructive reviews!

And, that's that.

My Stories:

That Man Under the Lamp-Post (multi-chapter, 2013 - 2013) A short story that takes a look at an AU (Alternate Universe) where Pauline and Waluigi meet.

Don't Leave Without Me, Bro (multi-chapter, 2013 - ) A story that follows Luigi and how he deals with some mishaps.

Buffering Retelling (multi-chapter, 2013 - ) A retelling of the pick-it fence's story of the same name; Buffering takes a look a past prejudices and just how well I can rewrite a strange fairy tale.

Create-A-Sim: Story Mode (multi-chapter, 2013 - ) A story that dives into the world of the Sims, and the problems of a Sunset Valley family that takes in a lost child.

Trapped (multi-chapter, 2013- ) A story that focuses on Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Princess Daisy being trapped in a cave together after an avalanche. It's morals versus survival. (Being redone right now)

Can You? (multi-chapter, 2014 - ) A Meachy short story for the loving holiday.

No Vacancy (one-shot) A one-shot that delves into the relationship between Princess Eclair and Luigi - and possibly Luigi's psyche.

The Feeling (one-shot) A one-shot that . . . well, it exists. I can't describe it.

A Hot Cup of Tea (one-shot) A one-shot that takes a look at Princess Peach and Toadsworth's relationship, while also trying to explain Peach's Castle change in New Super Mario Bros. U.

Erased (prologue) (one-shot) A story made my by little sister as a little introductory to another story of the same name.

Not a Happy Camper (one-shot) A one-shot that delves into the Luigi x Daisy side of me.

Cabin Fever (one-shot) My response to the lack of Mario and Luigi brotherhood stories I've seen on here.

A Letter From Her Highness (one-shot) A letter from the princess. Nothing more, nothing less.

Long Road Ahead (one-shot) A young servant meets the Mario Brothers for the first time.

Another Step (one-shot) A small one-shot/unofficial alt. ending to The First Step by DarkFoxKit and Verran. A fanfiction of a fanfiction.

Mario theories:

Now, I think I know what Nintendo was doing when they came up with the color scheme for Mario and co. (I wasn't kidding when I said I think way too deep into Mario stuff.)

Mario - Red, the color of fire and anger, but also the color of love and bliss. Mario is harsh and will attack when threatened, but he is also kind-hearted and sweet, making him fit the color perfectly.

Luigi - Green, the color of envy and disgust. It is true that Luigi does envy his brother and he has shown it more than once in games. But, green is also a kind and warm color, fitting Luigi's shy and sweet personality perfectly as well.

Princess Peach - Pink, the sterotypical color for women. She is a princess and she is streotypical. She is kind, gentle, soft, and can cook, fitting the Disney standards to a princess, which (let's face it) is what we grew up with. Now, if you read deeper into that, pink is the lightest shade of red other than white. Peach is much more softer than Mario, making not that much of an impact as the plumber himself. Same goes for the colors;red is bold and easily seen, while pink is toned down and not easily visible. This is what ties in the romance, making just the simplest color of their clothes mean so much. Both were practically made for each other, but I digress.

Princess Daisy - Yellow, the color of the sun. The sun is warm, bright, and a sign of happiness in most kids' cartoons and pictures. It's a sign that all is well and all is perfect, for now. Daisy is open to anyone or anything, so this color matches her fine. Yellow would be her welcoming side. Orange, the color that is slightly bold and stands out. This color fits Daisy's tomboyish attitude perfectly. Daisy has been proven to attack when threatened and, like Mario, is also gentle and sweet. Both yellow and orange fit Daisy's persona well.

Bowser - Red, orange, green, and yellow. Red is a sign of attack, or danger. Like Mario, it stands out and both characters will fight to the death if needed. Orange would stand for Bowser's threatening, but also stupid attitude. Like Daisy, he is clumsy and doesn't think things through well, especially in the Paper Mario games. Green would stand for Bowser's envy towards Mario and how the plumber gets the girl in the end. Yellow would stand for a touch of darkness, because it's not just the color, it's how Nintendo shaded it. It's a dark yellow, almost like an emerald. This changes the whole definition of the color. Shades matter just as much as the color does. These colors, however, fit Bowser fine.

Pauline - Red. While also the color of Mario, it is a sign of mourning, love, and hurt. It is fair to say that Pauline might be in mourning that Mario broke up with her and has moved on, while she probably hasn't. I like to focus on that aspect of her personality, since it is the only sunshine of difference on a blank slate that is personality.

Mr. L - This might be a huge physiological breakthrough. Let's think about it for a second and start with asking some basic questions:

Why was Mr. L created?

What does he represent?

What does he need to survive?

1: Mr. L was created not only to serve as an alter-ego to Luigi or become another cheap boss battle. No, he was created because for years, Nintendo has hinted at it. One huge example is in Super Smash Brothers, where Luigi's special move is referred to as the "Dark Zone", which (to paraphrase the Mario Wiki) "was created out of spite towards Mario and his glory." So, Nintendo has actually foreshadowed Mr. L's inevitable arrival for some time now.

2: What Mr. L represents is pretty obvious. He is the wanting inside all of us. We ALL have a Mr. L. We all have that craving to be famous and to be showered with glory - to have everything given to us on that silver platter. Mr. L is the dark side of all that. He is the dark side to that wanting. He is what we all are willing to do to get to that point - even if it means forgetting our best friends in the process. This, however, is a rather shaky theory.

3: Attention. Mr. L needs attention to survive. Much like a child needs attention to survive, Mr. L does too. Without attention, what would he be? Just Luigi. Mr. L is that wanting for attention. He needs it to live, or else he'll become nothing. Again, this theory is still a little bit shaky.

Black suits him well.

Thanks to user, sparklespepper: Mr. L's Dark Green - The dark green would work for the ambitious, greedy, and jealous side of him. It's a given that Mr. L is the ambitious type, seeing as how he created the Brobots. He is greedy in the same sense that he mooches off for fame and Count Bleck's approval. He is jealous, which could possibly explain his rather stronger hatred towards Mario than towards the other heroes. Perhaps Mr. L still remembers Mario - the thought of him hidden in the back of his altered mind - because of Luigi's constant thought about his brother.

I'll think of more when the ideas come to me.
