Based in England, I write using 'English' English. I started writing for the Net in response to spoilers for Harm's Way, an episode from Angel. My first piece, published at BAPS (Bloody Awful Poet's Society) was a non-fiction study of the nature of Spike's sacrifice in Chosen (Buffy the Vampire Slayer Finale). Never having written fanfiction before, I'm learning as I go along. (Dec.2003)

It was about time I updated again, so here goes. (July.2006)

Still learning. And it's still All. About. Spike.

But I have learned to love that other vampire with a soul, thanks to the research needed for the pieces I am writing.

Family: Blood Calls to Blood is complete and has won Best Angst in the Lie to Me awards, and several nominations for which I am not only grateful but amazed.

The sequel, Soul Searching, now forms the second part of a Series that I have titled L.A.Times. Who knows if there will be a Part Three? I certainly don't, 'Family' was meant to be about 5 chapters long and look what happened to that. Soul Searching has scooped a bunch of awards and has won Best Angst, Best Soul!Spike, and Best Solo(Spike), as well as Runner up Drama at the Lie to Me Awards

I've branched out and attempted some shorter pieces. I find it challenging to 'tell the story' in a few words, so the limit imposed by the drabble and the 369er is good practice for concise writing.
