Hello! The first thing I need to do for the people reading this who are not from our roleplay universe is explain who I am. I am the same Robert Lightwood who appears as a character in the Mortal Instruments books up to a point. But since our universe has been drastically different since about the time of the Uprising, I have lived a very different life.

You see, Michael wasn't killed in our universe, instead he went on to marry Amatis. And we stayed Parabatai. I eventually came to terms with the fact that my homophobia towards the subject of his feelings for me, stemmed from my inability to cope with my own bisexuality and we started and affair, though we didn't see it that way.

Eventually our wives realized the weekend fishing trips were about more kissing than fishing and confronted us about it. But rather than take the typical jealous housewife view of it, they kindly and considerately looked at it through our eyes. They knew we still loved them, even though we loved each other, so their solution was that Michael and Amatis moved into Lightwood Manor with us and we all became one family.

Meanwhile with The Circle and the Clave sharing power, Valentine was able to advocate for us and worked dillegently first to get the Parabatai law repealed and then to get group marriages recognized by the Clave as legally binding (Though we all know now that Val was also advocating for himself in those matters whether it was intentional or not). And eventually we were able to make it official and we became the Lightwood-Waylands.

And we've gotten to be a pretty big family. Maryse and I had Alexander and Isabelle before the Waylands joined our family and Michael had Jonathan from his first wife, who died. Then he and Amatis had Amelia before they joined us. But we didn't stop at just those four. Michael eventually gave Maryse a son, Maxwell, and about a year later, Amatis bore me a son, Rufus, though she almost died in the process and we decided six children was our limit.

Nowadays, the kids are all grown and going on to have families of their own. Izzy has yet to settle down and Rufus is still too busy studying abroad to find a girlfriend but we have grandkids by J.R. Ami and Max. And Alec and Magnus have one on the way.

Speaking of J.R. (that's Jonathan Robert, our oldest boy) and Ami (that's Amelia, our youngest girl), while our pioneering of Polyamory in Idris has rubbed off on the Morgenstern family, it seems that their children's penchant for incest has rubbed of on ours. J.R. has been married to their daughter Seraphina for most of their adult life, and the two of them are now bringing her brother Jonah (Jonathan Morgenstern), and our Amelia into their marriage. Their wedding is coming up soon.

So between all of the kids in that family and the fact that Max's wife has given him triplets, it would seem we have eight grandchildren and another one on the way. I joke that if we keep growing at this rate the Lightwood-Waylands will take over the world! But in all seriousness we aren't organized enough for that. We're lucky if we can get everyone to gather for a holiday dinner!
