This life might not have been planned, but they wouldn't want it any other way

I wrote this a few years ago and decided to post the first part. It's an alternate universe story that sees what would have happened if Logan Echolls was ostracized from the beginning, rather than Veronica Mars.

Post-series, no-movie AU. Veronica is a dedicated career woman who reluctantly agrees to sub for a local teacher on maternity leave. The resulting run-ins with former friends' kids make her think twice about her life. And that charming English teacher? They used to be much more than friends, a long time ago. An unapologetic excuse to put grown-up LoVe in a high school setting.

Veronica doesn't date Duncan in the summer before Senior year. Even though she's not with Logan, her feelings remain with her and so does that last conversation.

Never in her wildest dreams did Veronica expect this to be Logan's life four years after she left Neptune at the end of her freshman year of college.

Veronica and Wallace are roommates in Chicago and heading back to Neptune for the holidays. While there, she encounters an old friend who is keeping secrets. That's okay because she has one or two of her own. But there's also an acre of history that creeps up between said friend from time to time.

When a bullied young girl asks for help, Veronica Mars always helps. But Veronica Mars doesn't always get unexpectedly tangled into a brand new online world of writing, imagination, shipping, fanmail, and Logan Echolls. A fluffy but introspective AU story set in early season 1.

Rated M for a bit of sexy goodbye fun at the beginning, naughty texts (sexts) throughout, and the usual bachelorette party/girls' weekend hi-jinx, and obligatory swearing. Friendship, humor, & angst. Veronica is keen to figure out why Duncan broke up with her, even as she struggles with her guilt over Lilly and Logan's split. Surprisingly, Logan proves to be her only ally - and maybe something more. An AU of the events that led up to season 1. It's been 180 days since Logan left for deployment. Now that he is back can Logan and Veronica continue to grow together and work through their past issues to stay together? There are big changes in the works for Logan and Veronica's families and friends. And they have to face them all together. Sequel to One Hundred and Eighty Days.

Post S3. Told from multiple perspectives, but the heart of the story is the relationship between Logan & Veronica. More character driven than plot driven, but I threw in a few mysteries for fun. Enjoy!

AU LoVe. Veronica feels she doesn't fit in with the Kanes, though she loves her siblings, Lilly and Duncan. A new face in town is intrigued by her, and in time she finds Logan Echolls may be what she's been missing in her life, amongst other things.
