I'm glad you did, so please leave a review and keep track of my story. If you clicked the wrong button, then you should probably hit that little arrow in the corner. If you actually are still reading and haven't just skipped down to see my stories and favorite stories/authors, then you must be very interested in my stories and/or personal life. In which case, please get one of your own, they're quite nice. And they have cookies. P.S. For anyone who is confused, I AM MALE. AND STRAIGHT. So don't ever say otherwise. This is a review I got. I read this now and feel nothing but shame. Thank you, StargateNerd, for showing what a huge ass I was being to everyone. StargateNerd 8/20/12 . chapter 4 I would just like to point out that your story has been up for 20 days now and gotten 18 reviews, 6 follows and 4 favs, you've written two stories, and you joined this site in May. When I first joined this site four years ago, the amount of views I had for all 6 of my stories that were up at the time three months after I joined totalled 379. I know this because I actually went to the trouble of checking my story stats and adding up the amount of views I got for my stories in the three months that I was a member of this site. At this time, those six stories (technically five now since I deleted one because it was God awful) have garnered a total of 8 reviews. Not 8 each, but 8 total, and the hits total 952, while between them they have 5 favs and 3 follows. This is four years later, in fandoms that are at least sort of popular. People are lazy, get over it. If they're not leaving reviews, it's normally because they don't hate it, and with all the crappy 10-year-old grammar you find on the site nowadays, that's a -good- thing. You're (generally) not going to be instantly popular. If you're expecting to be, then I suggest you shoot for more realistic goals, or just stop writing, because if you're in this for the fame you're going to be terribly disappointed. I say this because I found this story to be very funny the first couple of chapters, but chapters 3 and 4 were less amusing because you were insulting all your readers and demanding reviews, which kind of soured the mood. As you've been a member of this site for less than three months, let me give you some advice. Authors who hold stories hostage/write them just for reviews are generally considered the lowest of the low. Cherish the reviews you have, and for God's sake just be patient! Everyone seems to like your story so far, so chastising anyone else who happens upon this for reviews will just drag you down. You're probably going to be really pissed at my for saying all of this, but if it's any consolation, I do genuinely like your story, and one of the reasons I don't normally review everything I read because I'm kinda busy with this thing called my life which doesn't really care about what I want to do. The only reason I have time to review this right now is because I'm supposed to be asleep right now. Please leave any reviews or suggestions you have on my stories in the reviews, even if you didn't like it. Especially if you didn't like it. I want help with these.
