What if Beth's fate was different in the season 5 MSF? This is my take on how the rescue mission could have gone and how she and Daryl reconnect after. Mainly following Daryl and Beth, but others from the group will interact as well.

It's my first fic, so please don't judge me strictly :) The action take place right after 13th episode of The Walking dead, 'Alone'. Inspired by promo of 15th episode. Beth find herself locked in unfamiliar place. Daryl trying to find her, which is quite difficult because of Joe and his group. But the unexpected plot twist will change everything...

Everyone has always protected and sheltered Beth, so she expects the same treatment as she finds her feet but one man seems to go out of his way to antagonise her. Beth/Daryl, post-HOME AU. Female coming of age story. When she saw him outside the prison gates in exactly the right place at exactly the right time, she was still pissed at him for leaving. How will she deal with the new and unfamiliar feelings she has as a result of his return?

Non-apocalypse AU in which Beth, the youngest of the Greene family, has lived a really sheltered life: typical southern belle, attends church on Sundays, gets straight A's, etc. But what happens when she decides to try something new? (Slow build with a slight crossover involving Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad though knowledge of either show is unnecessary.)

Beth only knows one person who can understand the darkness inside Carl and help her friend. But she doesn't anticipate all the ways he'll change her too. Beth seeks him out to be her hero but in the end she'll be much more to him.
