About Me!

Hi, everyone! I'm Chelsea, a 20-something gal from PA. I'm not really a writer, so sorry to say you won't be finding anything by me on this site. I am an avid reader, however, and finally decided to set up an account so that I can come out of the shadows I've been lurking around in and post reviews for the stories I decide to check out. Actually... that's only partly true, lol. I asked my good friend, FlowerGirl82, to write some stories for me based in the world of my favorite Anime: Bleach. She said to me, "If you set up an account and promise to review each chapter, I'll write them." So I did.

I'm actually sort of helping her plan the stories. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to have a damn thing to do with the actual writing. I'm great with comig up with ideas, but I have no talent when it comes to putting them into words and making them work. But, she's given me the green light to share the ideas and such here on my profile... so I guess that's what I'll do!

What I Wanted...

I've asked her to write three stories for me (so far, lol) - one for each of some of my favorite Bleach characters: Urahara, Yumichika, and Kon. I told her that I don't care what genre they are, but there are two requirements. #1: There must be romance in each of the stories, with one of the previously mentioned characters as the one participating in said romantic plot. #2: The romance must be heterosexual in nature. I'm sick of seeing just about every male character in Bleach being depicted as gay in fanfiction. I also forbid her from doing an Urahara/Yoruichi romance, as I personally think they're just good friends and nothing more (and that Yoruichi is actually playing for the other team, anyway, lol).

What I'm Getting...

Urahara - This one I'm totally psyched about! I actually came up with almost the entire idea on my own. She wanted to do something with demons, since she's also writing a Devil May Cry story for another of our friends. Once I heard that, my imagination went nuts! lol... Kisuke is getting paired with a girl who is more than she seems. And the story is going to be way long. Surely, it'll end up being the longest of the three.

Yumichika - She's a fan of Ukitake, and wanted to find a way to use him in one of the stories, so this ended up being the one. Pretty Yumi gets paired with a new member of Squad 11, the first female member to actually earn a place on the squad (since Yachiru was more or less just given the position she has because of her father-daughter relationship with Kenpachi). The story takes place entirely in Soul Society - hence the appearance of Ukitake.

Kon - This was probably the oddest of the three that I gave her to work with, and honestly I had no idea how she was going to pull it off... But then she came back to me with a seriously cute/funny/awesome idea involving both plushie!Kon and Ichigo!Kon with one of the female students in Ichigo's school. Not to give too much away, but Kon ends up performing a noble act toward the end of the story and the very end is a total surprise.

What Else I Might Get...

Since she started working on plotting these stories out, she's been getting totally into the idea of writing more Bleach fics. She especially likes the pairing of Renji/Rukia and she's always felt kinda bad for Chizuru and her unwanted affections, lol... so she might just keep writing more Bleach fics, as long as they don't totally over-run her Criminal Minds fics she's been working so hard on. (And trust me, she's been putting a ton of work into painstakingly plotting out each and every one of her more than twenty fics... damn, I wish I had her talents sometimes, lol.)
