Morty, being reckless as usual, encounters someone whom he thought was someone he knew, but encounters the dark side of them as he makes his way throughout the vibrant, flashy part of the city. I found it difficult to capture Rick's speech and Morty's, also probably failed at capturing the full breadth of character expressed in the show.

There was an unspoken understanding between us, one that carried over to many things. Some things we just didn't talk about. " I killed him for you" he reminded me solemnly. " He can't hurt you now"

Rick appeared out of the portal and stood at the end of his bed. Morty frowned when he saw that it wasn't his Rick. Instead, it was the Rick from earlier today. Mysterious Rick. "Gee-geez M-morty you're so beautiful. So p-pure." Mysterious Rick purred.

rick's too selfish and needy and awful to even consider it, he knows that with more certainty than anything else.
