![]() Author has written 5 stories for Protector of the Small Quartet, iCarly, and Harry Potter. Hi, welcome to my profile!! I apologise in advance, it's a bit boring. So just a few quick things before you read any of my stories. First of all, I am an Australian. You know, Down Under. The Outback. Where the cool kids ride emus to school and we have deadly animals living in our backyards. (All of the previous statements are false, just in case you didn't pick up on that. Truthfully, I have only ever seen an emu twice in my life, while I was driving along the highway, and the only dangerous animals I have living in my backyard are eastern brown snakes. Look those suckers up, they are pretty bad news.) Anyway, my point that I was going to make is that because I am Australian, I spell things differently and use different terms. Deal with it. I get it from the whole Northern Hemisphere and I can function quite a bit better in society because of it. Don't like it, that's your issue. Examples of these things include: colour, humour, goal (jail), mobile (cell phone), realise, harmonise, etc. Also it will probably never come up in one of my fanfics, but in Australia, 'college' is the name of the on campus accommodation at some universities. So basically, dorms. I live in one. It's co-ed, has about 380 18-22 year olds in close quarters to each other, but its actually pretty cool. My other point about being Australian is that my sense of humour and also what I consider an appropriate level of crudeness or profanity is quite a bit different to if you were say, (stereotypically, mind you) a religious person or someone older than 25. We Aussies also have a very different idea of what is acceptable behaviour towards older people and bosses as our society isn't based on a hierarchy. Ok, enough on that, next point. I have a bad habit of writing something, typing it up and then posting it in the same night. I am going to try not to do that, but it will probably still happen. So if one of my stories hasn't been updated in a while, feel free to send me a message and ask about it. If a story is finished, I will have changed its status to be 'completed'. One shots will be labelled as such in the description. I am a big believer in these aspects of fanfiction, as nothing pisses me off more than reading an 120k story that someone has labelled 'completed' only to find that it has been abandoned three years ago. Grrr. My OTP is Sydney/Adrian from Bloodlines, the spinoff series from Vampire Academy, and my other favourite pairings are Rose/Scorpius (Harry Potter), Marie/Stein (Soul Eater), Kel/Dom (Protector of the Small), Alec/Magnus (Mortal Instruments), Ahiru/Fakir (Princess Tutu) and Haru/Baron (The Cat Returns). I'm a bit of a shameless manga/anime fan. I study Japanese at University, and if that doesn't say something, I don't know what does. Ok, next is some stupid stuff I just wanted to put on here: I speak three languages, English, Sarcasm and Profranity. I firmly believe that stupidity killed the cat and that curiousity was framed. I have the quote, 'This assignment can't be done the day before? Challenge Accepted' written in Niko on the back of all my school books where my teachers can see it. I read fantasy and adventure stories, then look them up on fanfiction to read the romantic parts that didn't exist. I am terrified of scary paranormal movies yet can walk from my lounge room to my bedroom in the dark with minimal difficulty after watching Criminal Minds and Bones, even though they didn't catch the serial killer who strikes during blackouts. My father's favourite saying when I have to go outside at night is, 'dont be afraid of the dark it can't hurt you. It's what's in the dark...' So thanks for reading, and enjoy my stories! |
