Street Fighter

I was addicted to Street Fighter after I gotten the home console version of the Jap SF 2 cart for SNES. And since then I played various fighting games like Fatal fury, Art of fighting, King of Fighters series, Tekken. Also ended up collecting various SF comics and collectibles over the years.

Mainly because I started off playing the Jap version of the SF games I always used the Japanese names of various characters. So therefore

- Bison is the boxer

- Balrog is the Spanish Ninja

- And Vega is the lord of Shadowlaw or Shadowloo or whatever you call it.

And yes my fave pairing is Ryu and Chun Li since the days of old Street Fighter comics. And both HK comics and Jap manga held a strong influence on my fics. Therefore there's a liberal sprinkling of Easter eggs that nods in the direction of comics, games and movies and what not. Alpha is a fic I had always wanted to do a few years back but never had enough material to until the recent involvement of a new muse by the name of SnH Ryu aka SOTA's Evil Ryu aka BRE (Burning Red Eyes)

Metal Gear Solid

With the exception of the Resident Evil series. I was never into shooting games let alone writing fics for MGS. I got into MGS on account of MGS 3 Snake Eater. The weird part is that the hunting animals for food part was what got me curious enough to try the game. And the fact that you're suppose to sneak instead of outright kill every living person you see was what got me hook.

I ended up playing the game in reverse MG3(Crocodile) - MGS2 - MGS1(Komodo Dragon) . And I'm partial to Naked Snake / Big Boss

And I still haven't quite taken to other shooting games
