Hello! Thanks for dropping by on my profile. As you can see, I haven't done much on it yet. I'm a college student taking up linguistics and know English, Tagalog, Italian, French and Spanish, although I'm working on not mixing them all up, especially the last three. Maybe I'd create a creole named Frespanengalogian one day. Haha, I suck at thinking up names.

I love reading (don't we all in here?) and writing. I'm a nerd (my parents call me that - talk about parental encouragement. thanks a lot, mom and dad), so studying takes up a lot of my time. I don't even have time finish a book anymore! Gah, if only those approximants, tmeses, phonemes and formants make sense without me having to review them! Is anyone here taking up linguistics too? What's up with praat, anyway? I don't get how to measure those be-dammed antiformants!

I love dancing ballet, but I've got two left feet when it comes to other dances. My father calls me his little 'Fatcracker.' Thanks again, Dad. You really know how to boost your daughter's confidence. And you're being a hypocrite, with that big pot belly of yours. I'm not even fat! Pout. Pout. Pout.

I have a little sister who's as spoiled as week-old milk. She's my only sibling and she's twelve years younger than I am. She's the stereotypical brat that you often see on the telly - big, adorable puppy dog eyes, heart-melting wide smiles, has an ability to wrap everyone around her finger, and a sadistic tendency to see her older sister suffer. And you know what's worse? I'm completely under her spell, and I like it.

The other members of my family are (can't believe I didn't catch the wrong S-V agreement here...and I call myself a linguist! What a shame! Hopefully you didn't see it) crazier than I am, but I still love them anyway.

Fanfiction has completely taken over my life. Slash, het, tragedy, comedy - nothing is safe under my hungry eyes. As long as it's well written, and even though I know virtually nothing about the book/movie/anime/whatever that fanfiction is based on, I'd still read it. And then I become addicted to that book/movie/anime/whatever.
