My father was Charles Meynier He was born in the 18th century; his last wish was that his daughter could live in an age of peace and prosperity. Instead I was sent to this age of Hip-hop, Global Warming, and Cinnabons. One of the few gems in this modern age is the fevered devotion the community has to fictional characters and settings. So much so that millions of people argue, hate, and threaten over their fictional lives.

Only in this hallowed haven can one find a burned fire-bending prodigy holding a young blind earth-bender in a warm loving embrace. Only in this most sacred archive can we see Van Helsing give Edward Cullen what he most richly deserves. Only here can we see Gil Grissom investigate a case along-side Sherlock Holmes. A paradise of free-thought and independent ideas, even if some can be rather shocking.

While it shames me to the bone, I greatly enjoy reading both Twilight and Zutara fanfictions-likely a sign of repressed masochistic tendencies. Other favorites include Beauty and the Beast, the Rape of Persephone, and Phantom of the Opera. While I enjoy the Wildmage stories, my heart pains at the lack of well-done Daine/Numair works. I am currently attempting to write two of my own fanfictions-the first is based on the concept of a modern-day Snow White and a retelling of A Rose for Emily.
