Hi! My name is Melissa and I am part-time (aspiring) writer and full-time nerdfighter. I LOVE the His Dark Materials trilogy and the Harry Potter books - I am a big fan of supernatural/fantasy settings and stories. I get bored easily - I guess fantasy is a way to escape into what's new and unknown and maybe that's why I'm so in love with it. :)

I love writing and I have written two (one and a half) fan fictions about Harry and Ginny's/Ron and Hermione's/assorted other Weasleys' kids at Hogwarts, though I've kind of dropped the ball a bit there. (I'm doing my GCSEs at the moment so...) I'm also not-writing a Sirius/Remus/Sherlock/John story and another Sirius/Remus story (is there an actual name for this pairing? If anyone has any clue, please let me know); not-writing means that both of these are on hold because I have a terrible habit of starting one thing and then leaving it and starting another. I'm trying to break said habit. I will finish them one day, however. I'm ALSO currently trying to write a Sirius/Remus slash fic. Oh joy.

Oh, and I've also recently discovered 'Drarry'. I must say, I never really saw that pairing before ('They're so far across the line of hatred for each other they can't even see it!') but now... well, to coin a phrase (or should that be 'cliché'?), I just can't get enough... *starts singing Depeche Mode...*

As if Deathly Hallows (Part II) comes out this July. I will cry SO much.
