about me

I'm one of those people who have had 'hippy' tattooed across their future since birth.
As I have recently told my delightful father, as soon as I possibly can I'm getting a tattoo across my arm which will say either 'take me to wonderland' or 'we're all mad here'.
I also plan on acquiring snakebites, and possibly a rainbow Volkswagen van - in which I shall sit in playing Martha Tilston on my guitar. As you may have guessed, my dad freaked out beyond words.

a fair few of you know me by alice, which is how i introduce myself to people.
only a small amount of people from mibba know my birth name.
a couple more of them are lovely mibkids from mibba.

i won't shout it out on here, of course. that will completely ruin all my carefully planned out mystery. or in other words, my blatant wish to be someone, anyone, else but myself.
that's how i managed to land myself with the name alice. a small while ago i had a craze with alice in wonderland - and what a wonderful obsession it was. of course, i adored the main character completely. at that point, i was merely toying with the name. running over pros and cons. until i read the twilight saga. that settled it immediately.
i fell in love with jasper hale from the first book. searching through each book before i read it, just to see how much he spoke in that edition.
i was also amazed by alice cullen. amazing, sparky, smart, vampire. what's not to like, i thought?
so i gave myself the name. a double-barrel - my adored alice in wonderland, and alice cullen all in one.

i am the type of girl who remembers everything anyone has ever said about her. that can be a curse, and a blessing. unfortunately it means i am haunted by the past, bitchy things people have said about and to me, making me prone to depression by memories. on a good side, it lets me see the people i can really trust. the ones who are really my friends. although i never forget a harsh word, i always remember a compliment, a friendly greeting, a hug.

i adore sunsets and blue skied twilights, with trees silhouetting against the both.

photography is another love, and they are my favourite settings.

i post a lot of stories, but i read more than i write.
