NaruSaku (Love it! I feel that it's really possible that they will get together!)

NaruHina (I like it but it's not as much as NaruSaku! I still think it's possible for them to get together though)

Naruxany girl (Yes. I like Naruto with any girl really)

NaruxHarem (I like this too but thats because I think he deserves it for all the crap he had to deal with)

ShikaTema (I think it's the most possible. I can see some chemistry between the two)

KibaHina (I think this paring is also possible if Naruto doesn't choose Hinata)

ShikaIno (I don't have any problems with this pairing and think it could be good)

ChojIno(Same as ShikaIno)

KibaIno(Same as ShikaIno)

NejiTen (Same as ShikaTema)

AsumaKurenai (It's in the manga and even before that I thought they would make a good couple)

MinatoKushina (Naruto's Parents. Great Couple. Nuff said)

Pairings I don't find possible:

SasuSaku ( I mean do I really have to say it?! SASUKE HAS NO ROMANTIC INTERSTS IN HER!! He didn't have any in the pre time skip and he certainly doesn't after the time skip!! The biggest proof is that HE TRIED TO KILL HER!!!)

Sasuxany girl (I'm sorry but I think Sasuke is an asshole! I mean he talks about destroying Konoha and looks like he went off the deep end after fighting his brother)

Sakuxany other guy (I'm sorry but besides Lee I find that Sakura getting together with any guy except Naruto very unlikely. Even SakuLee makes me nauseous)

Now for my rant on Bashing of Sakura in fanfiction and Naru/Saku vs. Naru/Hina. This contains cursing so skip this part if you don't want to listen to this.

Okay now WHAT THE HECK?!!!! I'm really!! Why is it that in most cases of NaruHina fanfictions and in most NaruHarems that Sakura is made out to be such a annoying and mean girl?!!!! I know that people are upset with her for her attitude during the pre-time skip but seriously?!!! She has gotten a lot better than when she was back then!!! Granted she has done some things that were not very nice but for the most part she is a good person!!! Another thing I can't stand is when people make Naruto to be SUCH AN UNFORGIVING GUY!!!! If they are trying to depict how Naruto would act or react to Sakura when she is trying to be nice or to make up for a wrong doing she has done, then they have failed miserably!!! If you look at the manga at all, you can see that he is a very forgiving person and has never yelled or talked in disgust to any of his friends!!! I'm fine with fanfictions if they have Naruto paired with someone other than Sakura, as long as they don't make Sakura out as such an annoying fan girl or if Naruto is being an jerk to them.

Now that I think about it, I think that the reason why everyone wants a Naru/Hina ending is because they want a perfect ending where there will be no fighting or problems in the relationship. Now I think that is bullshit! Every relationship has hardships and I think that if Naruto got in a relationship with Hinata; that Hinata would let Naruto do whatever he wants and not punish him, despite if he should be punished for doing something wrong or not. NARUTO NEEDS SOMEONE TO DISH OUT PUNISHMENT TO HIM WHEN HE DOES SOMETHING WRONG!! Main characters like Naruto always have a woman who lays down the law to keep them from getting into trouble. Naruto's relationship with Sakura is very similar to other pairings from other manga. GokuxChichi, YusukexKeiko, EdxWinry, InuyashaxKagome, the list goes on. Also if you notice (and this is just my opinion) that Naruto, Minato and Jiraiya all fell for violent women. Jiraiya loved Tsunade, Minato loved Kushina and Naruto loves Sakura. It seems that not only do all apprentices of Jiraiya love violent women but its seems that liking red-heads with tempers runs in the family.

Now I'm not saying that Naruto won't be with Hinata. It can still happen and I won't be too disappointed if it does happen. But I don't think it will happen. Naruto hasn't shown much interest in Hinata and probably only thinks of her as a friend. It's like I heard from someone before (can't remember where), if you haven't interracted with someone much, then how can you have a close relationship? Naruto has been with Hinata only a few times throughout the series. I can probably name all of the events on my 10 fingers (If that!) when they have interracted. Now I'm not saying that Hinata's confession will not interest him to get to know her more and end up getting together later. What I'm saying is that even though she confessed to him, he didn't even talk to her about what his answer was at all. She also didn't seem to mind when Sakura hugged him in front of her. I think that Hinata is way too shy for Naruto. Granted she has gotten better at it and I was shocked when she confessed her feelings to him when she fought Pain but I think that she did it on the spur of the moment. She probably thought she was going to die so she let him know her feelings before she got killed. If she tried to confess to him without all of the Akatsuki happening (or just without the Pain invading Konoha and without the Fourth Shinobi war), it would have taken Hinata much, MUCH, longer to tell him. I mean for crying out loud! She fainted from seeing him after the two year time skip and barely had any interraction after that!!!

Now that that is done let's talk about Naruto and Sakura's relationship. I will start off by saying that they fit each other pretty well. Naruto and his kind, hyperactive nature and Sakura and her kind, protective and authoratative personality complement each other pretty well. This type of relationship is seen many times in other manga. You can also clearly see over the course of the manga that while Sakura started out as an annoying fan-girl character, she grew into a caring person that is concerned and very protective of her friends. Her relationship with Naruto has changed dramatically. From thinking of him as annoying and not caring about him at all, to caring about him a lot and is very protective of him. There are also many clear indications throughout the series that have pointed towards her feelings changing towards love. Now granted she still is in love with Sasuke but it is seeming more and more like that she is questioning a little why she likes him. I find it hard to believe that a girl will like a guy or be in a relationship with said guy when he has absolutely no feelings towards the girl and HAS TRIED TO KILL HER BEFORE! Now I will admit that the confession towards Naruto was probably not a good thing to do. She did have good intentions at heart but she went about it the wrong way. But I doubt that Naruto will hold a grudge or completely dismiss Sakura as a likely choice for being his girlfriend.

All I have to say is that let us wait till the end of the series and after the war and the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight. Kishimoto could just kill Naruto and Sasuke for all we know. No matter what the outcome, I will still say I enjoyed reading the manga.

Why do people constantly bash characters in fanfiction stories? That is a question that still leaves me baffled. What I like to do before I begin reading a story is to look through the chapters to find any bashing in them and if there is, how much of it is involved. If a story has extreme bashing for characters whose personalities stray extremely far from what is shown in the manga or anime and doesn't deserve it, then I don't read those stories. I don't like reading stories with extreme bashing. Bashing just degrades the characters from the manga and anime and puts them in an extremely bad light which not only affects the judgement of people who decide to read a fanfiction story before watching the anime or reading the manga, but just shows that people are immature and take their view points and constant dislike of certain characters and portrays them in their fanfiction. Regardless of that, I do respect people's rights to write what they want as long as it follows the guidelines set by Fanfiction.net. I won't wine or scream about injustices done to certain characters anymore. I will though give constructive criticism to people who blatently bash charcters for no reason and without evidence (or very poor excuse of evidence). I just wish that there wasn't any bashing done to characters on fanfiction sites but sadly there will always be some people who love to bash characters. I like to look at all sides and every piece of evidence and outlook before I judge a character. Even then, I like to read the story and see how my opinion of the character changes throughout. If a character is given multiple chances to change for the better good and still continues to hate and kill, then I will dislike the character and view that person in a negative light and said character will have to go through a lot of crap for me not to hate him/her if they go back to the good side.

Another issue I would like to bring up is negative outlooks on certain characters when you compare the manga to the anime. In Naruto, you can see that there is a lot of filler episodes that are added in to stall for time before enough of a gap can be used from the manga to the anime that the anime is safe enough to continue following the main storyline. For those of you who don't know, Filler episodes are episodes that are not part of the main storyline and are used to fill up time as explained in the previous sentence. Now for filler episodes, because they are content only found in the anime and aren't draw or ideas thought of by the author of the manga, they are not counted as things that happen in the manga storyline. The reason for my explanation of this is because characters like Sakura and Hinata (The biggest examples) are viewed in very different points of view. For Hinata, she has been getting more screentime and showing more interraction around Naruto while Sakura has still been getting a decent amount of screentime (because she is the main girl character of the manga) but the series has portrayed her in a negative light. A lot of people say that the reason why this is happening is because not only are the storyboard people (the people who make the episode scripts) NaruHina fans but also they focus more on the fans who want more NaruHina in it. As for the negative light on Sakura, she is given that because of Kishimoto's portrayl of her attitude from the very beginning of the story has gotten negative responses of fans and have grown a general dislike of her character. The storyboard people ran with this idea because they might have thought that not only does it give comedic value to the story but also gives the fans what they want. While I don't have any negative response on doing this to have more viewers, what I don't like is people living in the past and not looking at positive things about characters that have changed over time. For Sakura, you can see that she has changed and she has grown to like Naruto to a certain degree of closeness and has become best friends with him. The problem is that a lot of people ignore the positive changes and focuse on the bad things she has done in the anime since the time skip and her attitude before. Fans even go to great lengths to say that Sakura is still a fan girl and should just die because she hasn't changed. Now I would like to ask these people, where does it show that she is just like she was before the time skip? Sure she did do some things that had a negative affect in the first part of the story, but she did change over time and it does show that Naruto views Sakura as his best friend and still is in love with her. People seem to be more focused on what their attitude would be to what Sakura was like before and not focus on Naruto's feelings which are shown in the manga. While he has shown dislike how he was treated in the past by Sakura, he still loves her and does admit that he does stupid things so he deserves some of those hits. I just wish there wasn't so much hate on characters in manga and anime. All this does is bring conflict and dislike amoung other people which no one wants. But o'well...sigh...I can't change people's minds about things like this. I will continue to respect others people's rights to say what they want and I will continue to read stories online. Hopefully one day the manga will end and we can end the constant hate about fictional characters but I won't get my hopes up too much.
