Loved the reboot movie, despite its flaws (I suspect there are more than ten thousand Vulcans left in the ST universe and which military organisation would really make an inexperienced cadet captain of their flagship??) Glad to see a woc as the love interest, about bloody time! Next time Lupita Nyong'o should play the role of Uhura! Star Trek Into Darkness - (2013) go see it! (2014) I did say go see it, after watching it too many times to mention I find this movie sooo funny. I am sure it was not the producers intention, Khan II ??...please! First a shout out to the fanfic writers who inspire me – Botsey, Pat Foley, Nerdielady (RIP), Notesfromaclassroom, Starquilter57, Startrekfanwriter, Wahoogal and Wildcat7898. Well I have decided after five years of reading and reviewing its time to be a FF writer. Would love to do a S/U story but there are so many good ones out there I decided to give a 'lesser' character some love, plus Bruce Greenwood is one sexy old dude! In my universe Admiral Christopher Pike is alive and well and having the time of his life with whatever female I put him with lol Just to add I will complete ALL my stories as far as possible. Some may take time but it will be done. Most of my stories are unrepentant romantic fluff, if you don't like that kind of stuff don't read it! My Star Trek reboot universe (mainly 23rd century) An AU world where semi-augmented Terrans (and other races) live, love, work, fight and play. Human life span 160 for females and 157 for males. Much stronger, more intelligent and age slower than their canon counterparts due to genetic manipulation of the 21st century. (So a 70 something year old human looks more like a 21st century human in their mid 40-50's). Charles (Trip) Tucker survived his canon ordeal and Baby Elizabeth Tucker survived the racist Terra Prime organisation. The Romulan War still happened and humpback whales still swim in the ocean (ST IV movie fans will understand the reference lol). Also in this AU Spock is not the only Vulcan/Human hybrid in existence, Sarek does not have a monopoly on a mixed race/Vulcan-Human marriage, especially almost two hundred years after First contact.
