Kids Will Be Kids When a magical fish transforms Kagura into her 5-year-old self on Sougo’s watch, he’s tasked with escorting her to a distant planet to find a cure—an assignment that becomes infinitely more difficult when the two of them are kidnapped by space pirates. As I've advertised very shamelessly in the story itself, this fanfic is 100% written! All I have to do now is revise and edit the chapters (24 total) so I can post them. I'm updating every other week to give myself time to revise with my work/uni schedule. The exact update day is jumping around a bit as I figure out what works for me and what will the story most visible, but rest assured that I will be consistently updating every other week. 2. Omiai (working title) Getting forced into a marriage meeting with your ex-girlfriend would be a nightmare to most people. Sougo chose to view it as a second chance. I started this story in 2017 based on the Okikagu week prompt, "Breaking Up". I wanted to write an awkward rom-com-type situation with Kagura and Sougo as adults, but in a refreshing, Gintama-like style... It'll end up with 2 or 3 chapters, and as of right now it's about 2/3 complete at 5592 words. 3. Yesterday's Enemy, When All is Said and Done, is Still the Enemy The first girl Okita Sougo met when he moved to Edo at the age of 14 was a loudmouthed little alien brat with red hair, red clothing, and bloody red knuckles. We don't have a clear timeline on when Kagura came to Earth, so I thought it would be interesting to explore a headcanon that Kagura met Sougo when both of them first came to Edo at the ages of 10 and 14. The friendship between a kid working for a gang and a kid who's becoming a cop is an odd one, but it works. |
