Hey brochachos. Long time no talk. I haven't updated this bio since September 26th, 2008. A lot has changed since I originally started writing fics as a wee one of about 15-16. I was really into Yu Yu Hakusho and wrote really terrible Yusuke/Hiei fics. Then when I turned 18, I got really into Death Note and attempted to write Matt/Mello. Fortunately for the Matt/Mello fandom, I outgrew pretending to be an author extremely early on. Very, very rarely I will still write a drabble or a oneshot or two, but for the most part, I came to terms with the fact that I'm not a very good author. And I'm just fine with that.

When I was younger, writing was a fun way for me to try and participate in fandom. I met a lot of cool people, and I had a lot of fun. I regret nothing. I was content to just leave this bio be for nostalgia's sake, as well as leave up all my really bad fanfics because... why not? But when I found a snippet of one of my old fics on a blog poking fun at really bad fics, I realized that maybe it was time to come out of hiding and clean this place up a bit.

I don't regret one second of the time I spent on FFnet. My free time as a teen was pretty much devoted to scouring this site for fics and making friends from the ones I wrote. I've even had the honor of receiving gift-art here and there! But the fact of the matter is I am 21 now-- almost 22. I'm not anywhere near as active in fandom of any kind in the same way I was when I was 16. And now I'm painfully aware of how bad my early fanfiction was.

You can't really 'erase' anything that's put on the internet, so I'm not really going to try and fight it too hard. But I just want everyone to know that I'm aware that this stuff is still on the 'net, and I'm aware that these fics range from mediocre to downright terrible. And I just want you all to be aware that I'm just fine with that. It's almost endearing to see the way I was as a nerdy kid. But at the same time, that 15-18 year old kid isn't who I am anymore. So in a way, I just want to come out and say that while my fanfiction days are behind me, I still love reading fics, and basking in the nostalgia of how things used to be. I wish I left a better mark in the fandoms I was in so I wasn't so embarrassed by these old fics and art, but oh well. xD I'm happy that people were at one point amused by them.

So that being said, of the fics I chose to leave up because I didn't have the heart to get rid of them, please read them with the understanding that most of them are old and bad, and the author realizes that. But what can I say? Those plot bunnies seemed like a good idea at the time!
