OKLAHOMA CITY - Experts in both the film and technology industries from all over the world will join together on April 30th at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art for at the inaugural U.S. Drone Film Festival. Local speakers, including Oklahoma Secretary of State and Technology Professor Stephen McKeever, Director of The Unmanned Systems Research Institute (USRI) Professor Jamey Jacob, Tulsa Mayor's Office Film & Music Liaison Chris Kucharski, Oklahoma City Community College Technology Department Chair and Professor John Helton, and CEO of Dronebois Nick Brown are set to present at this festival. International speakers include French filmmaker and drone traveler Laurent Youmndingouetmoun and Brazilian filmmaker Lincoln Kadota. Youmndingouetmoun will be visiting Oklahoma from New Zealand while Kadota will be travelling from Brazil to educate attendees and contribute their expert knowledge of drone technology. The festival will consist of networking opportunities for attendees and TED Talk style presentations on the commercial, recreational and philanthropic uses of drones by these industry experts. Cinematographers, journalists, flyers, buyers, academia and all interested individuals are invited to attend the highly anticipated film festival.
