A Malfoy always wins...

The war ended over two years ago, but Hermione still feels the echoes of strange memories from that time, as though something is missing or has been taken from her. When she sees Draco Malfoy at a Ministry ball and collapses, falling into a coma, the truth about their past together is revealed.

"You know, my friends and I have a bet going this year." Draco raised one eyebrow over the book he was reading. "A bet on how long you are going to last as Head Girl this year. You see, because of the fact I am going to make your life a living hell." "What have I ever done to you Malfoy?" She spat back. "Your existence as a Mudblood is enough, I assure you." He smirked back.
