During a fight with Chara, Sans accidentally steals Chara's reset, load and save abilities, leaving him in a reset world with perfect memory of everything that Chara had done.

"bro... take the kid and RUN." Sans has lost control over his powers. He knows that it will kill him. Written at 20 to 12 at night because this idea would not leave me alone and I was already burning the midnight oil anyway so... Edit: HOLY SHIT, a fave and two follows within an hour of posting! The first time Sans saw Frisk die, he was confused. The second time Frisk was killed, Sans was relieved, unnerved, and somewhat hopeful. The third time...well, let's just say Sans the Skeleton was actually hoping there wasn't going to be a third time.

Even a True Reset doesn't mean that everything that happened is erased.

It's just another reset. There's no harm in switching things up a bit, right? After all, nothing really matters in the end. This time, it's Sans' turn to create his own ending, no matter the cost.

Frisk was living on the surface with their new family. Everything was perfect except, the dreams that seem to belong to someone else. Something is left undone. The past is pulling them back. The world is reset, everything is undone. Somehow, they have to break the cycle and save everyone, and themselves. (pacifist run spoilers)

Frisk falls down into the Ruins, but when they try to speak to Flowey, he doesn't understand them. Now he's on a journey through the Underground with this kid, and sometimes they get this weird gleam in their eyes and it looks like they're talking to themself. He doesn't have time for this when there's a couple of human souls that need to be stolen.

Just a drabble I made of Sans fully breaking the fourth wall and talking to the player/reader as they play undertale. Also in doing so, Sans figured out how to reset. I'm not sure if I'll finish it, but it was a fun concept idea and it is actually near 11pm now so, have fun reading it.
