Author has written 1 story for Halo. FYI: Not my real name. I'll leave the T and J to your imaginations. Been writing for several years but only found this site a few months ago. Finally decided to contribute a little something. Please don't expect too many updates as now is a very busy time in my life (I know everyone seems to say that but it's true nonetheless). Any comments or suggestions on my style are welcome. Personally I think my writing is a little stiff but haven't been able to iron that out yet. Helpful tips from more experienced writers will be greatly appreciated. Also if you see a spelling or punctuation mistake in the stories please tell me about them. I usually only do a cursory proofread of my writings. Cheers, T. J. Ryan Fifth Day of Harvest Requiem is up. It's long, so I hope it was worth the wait. And I left a nice cliff hanger at the end too. Hope you enjoy and for those who have been helping me with suggestions, I hope this answers some of the direction I'll be taking. Day Six and Seven will probably be similar to the past six chapters but after that I might condense two days in one update to speed things along and get to the climax. This summer is going to be a huge transition time in my life (moving out of home and all) so I don't know how much time I'll have for writing. Thanks again for all those who keep reading and reviewing my stories. It means a lot. I've also started outlining another fan fiction based on Avatar: The Last Airbender. For those interested, it'll be on events that happen after the series ended. I've come up with a few new characters to serve as bad guys (and keeping a few old; hello Azula) and I'm reuniting the gang to kick their butt. Update on the Last Airbender fan fiction: I only work on it occasionally (maybe ten pages finished) and the original characters are completely different from how Aang and his gang think/act so switching between the two groups is extremely hard. I end up having to do a lot of rewriting. I don't plan on this being done anytime soon especially since I'm working on my original fictions (two of them; the third is a sequel and I put that aside to finish the first) and school is now in crunch time. Thanks again for all the reviews for Harvest Requiem and I hope to update again by June. Cheers, T.J. Ryan |
