Howdy. I generally go by the name Zommers, but that handle's been taken, so here I am as Zom-a-Nom Nom. Anyone who's watched me in the past may notice... I've gone through a lot of name changes.

I haven't updated in a long time. Maybe some day soon I'll actually write something, preferably something better than the crap I passed in previous years.

My favorite writers are Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and maybe someday I'll finish reading the Mark Z. Danielewski, Hal Duncan, and Anthony Burgess books I bought with my Christmas money. All three are great writers but hard to follow. I keep finding myself zoning out.

My favorite books are Good Omens by Gaiman and Pratchett; American Gods, Neverwhere, and Anansi Boys by Gaiman; anything by Pratchett (especially anything with Granny Weatherwax or Moist von Lipwig in it)... Argh, the list goes on.

Favorite bands are Placebo, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Korn, Rammstein, Imogen Heap, Marilyn Manson, Mika, Orgy, Dredg, System of a Down, and Queens of the Stone Age.

Favorite shows? Anything CSI, Law & Order, Without a Trace, Cold Case... Dexter (the serial killer, not the boy genius), Superjail, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and my most recent obsession, Stargate Atlantis. I love the Wraith. Particularly Todd--there's so much potential in that character.

That about sums me up. I love serial killers, cannibalism, philosophy, gore, zombies, character studies, and crazy people you can't help but agree with in their insanity. Like, say, V, from V for Vendetta, or Hayley from Hard Candy.

I like writers who can make me think, or make me feel, or just make me flinch in horror--in the good way. Not in the way Stephanie Meyer makes me flinch.
