I love Jesus, but He loved me first.

He's an amazing guy and I think this will be the perfect place to share my personal testimony.

I had always said I believed in God and even said I was saved. Maybe I was, but now I realize I had never really experienced Jesus before the night when I was reading my Bible and decided I wanted to be baptized. I had been thinking about baptism for a while, but until then I was too scared. I don't even remember what I was reading in my Bible I just remembing laying face down into the floor, crying my eyes out, and feeling more happy than I have ever felt in my life. I don't remember what I prayed or what I said I just remember how it felt. I was laying flat on the floor, basically smelling my stinky carpet, but I was...happy or joyful or any other word can't even describe it. I was as low to the ground as I could be, and I still felt like I needed to be lower. I believe I truely received the Holy Spirit then and there. God has saved me from my sins, and I hope to glory Him with my life. I also believe that because I am owned by Christ, I owe Christ to the world. Jesus truely does save no matter what anything or anyone else says. I know it's true. And I know that Christians, even though most of us have missed the mark and are not following the lives God wants us to, are meant to be salt and light in the world. I encourage you if you've been able to stomach this story this far, to go and buy a Bible. If you can't afford one, go to a local church and see if they will give you one. I know God has a special purpose for everyone out there, we just have to find it.
