Warning i like to inform those of you who are reading this important warning to know that i will be operating within a set of rules and guidelines that everyone will be able to recognize and know, these rules are self-made and i will follow them to the last word because of the many benefits and professionalism that they bring to my code of work and conduct on this site. 1-Criticism and Reviews: First of all, I'm going to say strictly that i'm open to criticism and reviews but that does not mean that i'll accept insults and other words that I'm not going to name in this respectful site. I know there that there is no such thing as being perfect and i admit that i a lot of faults just like anyone else. but doesn't mean that I'm going to tolerate a review where the sender openly ridicules either myself and my works without even having the decency of giving a Reasonable explanation. i don't hate Guest Reviews but i like to inform everyone that i have a account on this site and i will always use this account to leave reviews or Private messages to other respectful authors or would-be-writers. whoever sends a message indirectly and names his guest review as 'titan of war' is a impostor, plain and simple. i respectfully Urge you all to either ignore that review or delete it all together. I Don't Insult other people and their respective works, Neither do i leave reviews without Directly showing the name of my account and the link leading to my account page on www.FanFiction.Net, this is a vital rule that I'm going to follow from now on due to reasons that i will keep private. 2-Chapter publishing and writing: I hereby boldly say that English is not my Mother language and thus it's natural for me to make Word mistakes here and there, that's why it takes a little longer then normal for me to publish a chapter. i have to check the words and make sure that they right, not to mention that there are many other things that i need to look out for such as character-buildings and Progression along with world-building and who knows how many more. These kinds of things take time and there have been instances where i have had to delete a ten-thousand written chapter and start fresh once again. Rest assured that I'm not going to abandon a story, i may have to rewrite it from scratch but i'm not going to abandon it. that's not in my policy and i'm telling it to anyone reading this right now. My Debuts and Dilemmas The choice between Sith and Jedi and regarding their philosophy and ideologies: When we look at Star Wars and see many characters that are fighting against each other, most of us see many things that either make us question or to wonder that if it came down to a choice, which side of the Force-users will we choose as our own. i Don't know about others but i Personally would sign up for being a Sith. why? because the ideology and the philosophy of the sith order Allows me to acknowledge the emotions within me and face who i am Rather then try to being a Machine. We are Humans, it's our thoughts and emotions that separates us from machines. you Cant ignore the emotions that you feel and are within you. you can suppress and deny it for only so long before it suddenly hits you like a wave of storm. it doesn't matter how many times you meditate or force you're self into a cold emotional Mask. at the end, you wont be able to move on without looking to the mirror and acknowledge who you are and how you feel. There is clear difference between a man who is at peace within himself and one who suffers from emotional breakdown and emotional problems. The Jedi preach peace, yet what kind of peace are they talking about? are they talking about the peace where everything goes according to their will and wants? are they talking about a peace where only their way of thinking is allowed in a society full of those who possess the ability to think and act for themselves? history has proven that no matter what age or time, There will always be conflicts of interests within our society. true peace can never be gained because the only way to gain it is to take away our humanities and ability to think and choose. now ask you're self this: what does a man or woman have, if not the ability to choose? Look at the actions of the Jedi, can you really say that they have acted as the "peacekeepers" that they like to call themselves? First of all, why did they send only two Jedi to deal with the problem in Naboo? When the Naboo Representative claimed invading and invasion against the Confederacy, what did the Jedi order do but to send only two Jedi to investigate? the republic may have been wide but this is a planet we are talking about, it gets big as it gets. What does it say about the Jedi order when they create a clone army and put themselves as high-ranking leaders and generals who control most of it? there are a lot of other reasons that i can write about and they will probably reach 5,000 words each, so i wont bore you with it and say that I choose the Sith over Jedi. at least the sith are honest about who or what they are. The Notion of protagonists, the consequences of their actions and their choices: Everyone of us has watched Anime Or movies, read books and Manga about many various types of Characters. the most common type of characters are the so called 'good guys' and the 'bad guys'. i have lost count the amount of times that i had been frustrated when i had watched the same mistake being done over and over again in both Anime Shows, books And manga. Let's start with the plot, boy or girl is a high school student who somehow gets dragged into some supernatural aspect and tries/becomes a part of it through some methods and means. He or she Rushes head-first into the fray, saves the girl/boy and then ends up becoming some super-man who can do things and shrug off the consequences of his or her actions and choices like a fly. excuse my language but the only thing that i can say about those Anime and books is that their absolutely Bull sh*. every action has a consequence, every choice has a way of affecting our life in some way or another. ask every experienced Adult man and women, and they'll tell you how exactly dangerous and terrifying that can be. issei hyoudou (Main character/protagonist high school DxD) is a perfect example of characters that make me frustrated. his leader orders him not to attack the church and yet he goes and does it with the help of his two fellow Peerage Members. He Ignores the fact that his actions reflect not just on himself but also on his group and those around him. The Fact that there is a chance for him to re-start the great war between factions completely eludes him or the fact is that he does not care beyond saving a 'friend' who he does not even know more then a day or two. He disobeyed his orders and his responsibilities as a member of the Peerage, he didn't thought for one second about choices and at the end what Serious consequences did he face because of them? Nothing, and not only that but he also got a girl who will become heavily depended on him and loves him with all of her heart. despite the fact that she Doesn't fully know him and has not even been on a proper date with him. Rias Gremory (one of the MC of the high school DxD) is facing a arranged marriage which has a lot of consequence for her house and her kind. what does she do when it comes to facing and acting on it? Nothing beside saying that she refuses the marriage and will only marry the man who she 'loves'. What kind of a Fu'''ing Reason and answer is that? if She wanted to get herself out of that marriage contract, why didn't she spoke with her parents and explained her reason like a logical Girl? did she even dated her would-be-husband and tried to know him Behind the mask of his that he always wears and tries to act like a Play boy? Here is a fact that i bet not many of you have thought about, if riser phenex is a so called 'bad-man' then why do the members of his peerage love him so much that they're willing fight for him? you cant inspire that kind of loyalty from people if you don't show that you care about them and are willing to be with them both in good and hard times. have you ever asked you're self that if Rias wanted to get herself out of that marriage, then why didn't she made the effort and train her peerage alongside with herself? she had years, she could have used the time to get to know her opponent, train her abilities and refine them or even master some of them. She Could have used the time to increase her chance of wining and instead what did she do? Nothing. Talk about a waste of potential and time. is it really a wonder that her whole peerage lost against Riser's? Lets Fast-forward it a bit, when Issei goes to Rias's weeding and Crashes it. What does he do when he first steps foot into the weeding? he shouts that Rias's -who is the bride- Virginity is His. I Don't know about you but where I Am, if you go to someone's wedding and shout that their wife's virginity is yours then Fists and bruises are going to be the least of you're Worries. Fictional anime or not, you'll be committing absolute social suicide. Plain and simple. People are not going to be forgetting about something like that anytime soon. Issei has no standing or position and yet he goes to the weeding of a high-class devil, full of high-class and influential members of a society, and says that and then he directly challenges his opponent who by all rights should have just kicked him out of the wedding and be done with it, not accepting the challenge of a opponent who has been beaten before. Issei hyoudou had been one of my favorite characters when i started to watch the Anime called High school DxD But after watching this scenes and facing so many plot holes? Lets just say that he no longer was in the list of my favorite characters. his supposed 'trump-card' that sealed the coffin was just salt on the Wound. do you want to know the consequences of a immediate power-up? let me tell you in short words so that you could easily reach the conclusion that i have: long term Coma and the loss of powers is the most lucky outcome and the most dangerous Risk and likely outcome is Death. Gai (Naruto) has a technique which gives him power that easily rivals the five Kage but the consequence of using that Power is Death. what kind of serious consequences and side-affects Issei suffered when he give his arm to the dragon trapped within his sacred gear and to achieve a power up? Nothing. in fact, he managed to get touchy with a certain sadistic girl and kept living as if nothing had happened. I Don't judge and i wont say anything more beside that, but High school DxD lost it's value to me after watching those scenes. No Offense to you all but that Cup of Tea, is not mine. if I Have unknowingly insulted you or you're favorite Anime/book/Manga then I Just humbly apologize. all that i ask is that you respectful fanfic writers and those who want to become writers like myself, please don't make the same mistakes when it comes to writing a plot line for you're characters and the consequences of their actions. Most of them are." He favored Jon with a rueful grin. "Remember this, boy. All dwarfs may be bastards, yet not all bastards need be dwarfs." And with that he turned and sauntered back into the feast, whistling a tune. Martin, A Game of Thrones “A bruise is a lesson... and each lesson makes us better.” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “You're mine," she whispered. "Mine, as I'm yours. And if we die, we die. Martin, A Clash of Kings “My own heroes are the dreamers, those men and women who tried to make the world a better place than when they found it, whether in small ways or great ones. Some succeeded, some failed, most had mixed results... but it is the effort that's heroic, as I see it. Win or lose, I admire those who fight the good fight.” - George R.R. Martin “The man who fears losing has already lost.” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “I think there are two types of writers, the architects and the gardeners. The architects plan everything ahead of time, like an architect building a house. They know how many rooms are going to be in the house, what kind of roof they're going to have, where the wires are going to run, what kind of plumbing there's going to be. They have the whole thing designed and blueprinted out before they even nail the first board up. The gardeners dig a hole, drop in a seed and water it. They kind of know what seed it is, they know if planted a fantasy seed or mystery seed or whatever. But as the plant comes up and they water it, they don't know how many branches it's going to have, they find out as it grows. And I'm much more a gardener than an architect.” - George R.R. Martin “Don’t call me Lord Snow.” The dwarf lifted an eyebrow. “Would you rather be called the Imp? Let them see that their words can cut you and you’ll never be free of the mockery. If they want to give you a name take it make it your own. Then they can’t hurt you with it anymore." - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “There is no creature on earth half so terrifying as a truly just man.” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “The common people pray for rain, healthy children and a summer that never ends. It is no matter to them if the high lords play their game of thrones, so long as they are left in peace.” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “I am not questioning your honor, I am denying its existence.” - George R.R. Martin “Crowns do queer things to the heads beneath them.” - George R.R. Martin, A Clash of Kings “Oh, I think not,” Varys said, swirling the wine in his cup. “Power is a curious thing, my lord. Perchance you have considered the riddle I posed you that day in the inn?” “It has crossed my mind a time or two,” Tyrion admitted. “The king, the priest, the rich man—who lives and who dies? Who will the swordsman obey? It’s a riddle without an answer, or rather, too many answers. All depends on the man with the sword.” “And yet he is no one,” Varys said. “He has neither crown nor gold nor favor of the gods, only a piece of pointed steel.” “That piece of steel is the power of life and death.” “Just so… yet if it is the swordsmen who rule us in truth, who do we pretend our kings hold the power? Why should a strong man with a sword ever obey a child king like Joffrey, or a wine-sodden oaf like his father?” “Because these child kings and drunken oafs can call other strong men, with other swords.” “Then these other swordsmen have the true power. Or do they?” Varys smiled. “Some say knowledge is power. Some tell us that all power comes from the gods. Others say it derives from law. Yet that day on the steps of Baelor’s Sept, our godly High Septon and the lawful Queen Regent and your ever-so-knowledgeable servant were as powerless as any cobbler or cooper in the crowd. Who truly killed Eddard Stark, do you think? Joffrey, who gave the command? Ser Ilyn Payne, who swung the sword? Or… another?” Varys smiled. “Here, then. Power resides where men believe it resides. No more and no less.” “So power is a mummer’s trick?” “A shadow on the wall,” Varys murmured, “yet shadows can kill. And ofttimes a very small man can cast a very large shadow.” Tyrion smiled. “Lord Varys, I am growing strangely fond of you. I may kill you yet, but I think I’d feel sad about it.” “I rose too high, loved too hard, dared too much. I tried to grasp a star, overreached, and fell.” - George R.R. Martin, a dance with dragons “I swear to you, sitting a throne is a thousand times harder than winning one.” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “I have lived a thousand lives and I’ve loved a thousand loves. I’ve walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time. Because I read.” - George R.R. Martin "A good act does not wash out the bad, nor a bad act the good. Each should have its own reward.” - George R.R. Martin, A Clash of Kings “A woman's life is nine parts mess to one part magic, you'll learn that soon enough...and the parts that look like magic turn out to be the messiest of all.” - George R.R. Martin, A Clash of Kings “Kill the boy, Jon Snow. Winter is almost upon us. Kill the boy and let the man be born.” - George R.R. Martin, a dance with dragon “I crossed a thousand leagues to come to you, and lost the best part of me along the way. Don't tell me to leave.” - George R.R. Martin, a storm of swords “A lord must learn that sometimes words can accomplish what swords cannot.” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “The greatest fools are ofttimes more clever than the men who laugh at them.” - George R.R. Martin, a storm of swords “We look up at the same stars and see such different things.” - George R.R. Martin, a storm of swords “You may be as different as the sun and the moon, but the same blood flows through both your hearts. You need her, as she needs you...” George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “...the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword." “When you know what a man wants you know who he is, and how to move him.” - George R.R. Martin, a storm of swords “Some writers enjoy writing, I am told. Not me. I enjoy having written.” - George R.R. Martin “A man might befriend a wolf, even break a wolf, but no man could truly tame a wolf.” - George R.R. Martin, a dance with dragon “I've lost a hand, a father, a son, a sister, and a lover, and soon enough I will lose a brother. And yet they keep telling me House Lannister won this war.” - George R.R. Martin, a storm of swords “A craven can be as brave as any man, when there is nothing to fear. And we all do our duty, when there is no cost to it. How easy it seems then, to walk the path of honor. Yet soon or late in every man's life comes a day when it is not easy, a day when he must choose. (Maester Aemon)” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “If a man paints a target on his chest, he should expect that sooner or later someone will loose an arrow on him.” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “Love is sweet, dearest Ned, but it cannot change a man's nature. -- Lyanna” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones “I prefer my history dead. Dead history is writ in ink, the living sort in blood.” - George R.R. Martin, a feast for crows “It all goes back and back," Tyrion thought, "to our mothers and fathers and theirs before them. We are puppets dancing on the strings of those who came before us, and one day our own children will take up our strings and dance in our steads.” - George R.R. Martin, a storm of swords “Always keep your foes confused. If they are never certain who you are or what you want, they cannot know what you are like to do next. Sometimes the best way to baffle them is to make moves that have no purpose, or even seem to work against you. Remember that, Sansa, when you come to play the game.” “What . . . what game?” “The only game. The game of thrones.” - George R.R. Martin, a storm of swords “You wear your honor like a suit of armor... You think it keeps you safe, but all it does is weigh you down and make it hard for you to move.” George R.R. Martin, game of thrones “Those are brave men... lets go kill them” George R.R. Martin, a clash of kings “The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis.' One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger--but recognize the opportunity.” - John F. Kennedy “The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.” - G.K. Chesterton “Only the dead have seen the end of war.” - Plato “Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected .” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “To know your Enemy, you must become your Enemy.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War “Thus we may know that there are five essentials for victory: “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.” - Albert Einstein "myths are simply stories about truths We've Forgotten." - Randolph, Magnus Chase book 1. ‘Yes, but that was the gods’ choice, not mine. The thing about fate, Magnus: even if we can’t "Stay low, go Fast. kill first, die last. one shot, one kill. no luck, all skill." -military quotes "They sent forth men to battle. But no such men return." -Aeschylus "Step by step they were led to things which dispose to vice, the lounge, the bath, the elegant banquet. All this in their ignorance they called civilization, when it was but a part of their servitude" -Tacitus "To ravage, to slaughter, to usurp under false titles, they call empire; and where they make a desert, they call it Peace." "It is the rare fortune of these days that one may think what one likes and say what one thinks." "No doubt, there was peace after all this, but it was a peace stained with blood." “You are an honest and honorable man, Lord Eddard. Ofttimes I forget that. I have met so few of them in my life.” He glanced around the cell. “When I see what honesty and honor have won you, I understand why." "There is no creature on earth half so terrifying as a truly just man." - A Song of ice and fire "A man who fights for coin is loyal only to his purse." - a Song of ice and Fire "You don't get it, son. This isn't a mud hole. It's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon" -Bruce Wayne, the Dark knight returns. But I didn't have to go easy on you; a different binding agent, a stronger mix, I wanted you to remember that. I wanted to remind you to stay out of my way. In all the years to come and in your most private moments, I want you to remember, the one man who beat you." -Bruce Wayne, the Dark knight returns. Mutant Leader: Batman! Show yourself! Face me fool, and I will kill you! I will show you who rules Gotham City!, Batman: Okay, son. Show me." the Dark knight returns. |
