Just a few quick facts about myself...

My name is Jessica.

I love reading and writing. I have a pretty eclectic taste in literature. I love classics, non-fictional history, modern fiction, social/political topics, and the occasional modern love story.

Vladimir Nabokov (Lolita - a love story that everyone should read), Fyodor Dostoyevsky (Crime and Punishment) , Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice - although it's predictable it's still a great romance novel), George Orwell (1984 and Animal Farm).

I've never really liked poetry very much, although I have taken to writing it just for fun. I don't take it very seriously though.

I love writing in general, although I often have a hard time translating it into words. That's why this site is helpful.

As far as music goes, I think that I'm all over the spectrum. I listen to rock and alternative the most though. I've recently realized that a significant number of my top favorite bands are British. Why? Who knows.

Just want to apologize to everyone that has been expecting regular updates on my stories. I have once again taken on too much for school and am having a hard time balancing everything. Thank you for reading and reviewing up until this point, and I will try to have an update once a month. But I'm aiming to have them more often.

Thank you, and I'm sorry to anyone that has been following my stories for the last few months. I know the lack of updates must be frustrating, but now that school is out for a bit and the Christmas stress is over, I plan to have updates before the New Year.
