I'm far from a professional author, just a twenty year old fan with too many ideas for my own good!

To any youngsters reading this, although I doubt there are too many, yes, fanfiction will have an effect on how you read your whole life. It's kinda ruined books for me, because some stories on this site are simply so well researched, well developed and compelling they put editing houses to shame.

Up to you to decide whether you continue down this path, its too late for me, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

The best fanfics I've read have been for the Harry Potter fandom, although some Alternate Universe Supernatural fics offer tough competition.

My favorite fandoms to read in are Harry Potter, Supernatural and Doctor Who, but Narnia and Merlin hold a very precious place in my heart. They all offer incredible fics. I started getting into fanfic by reading Percy Jackson crossovers, and I do love the Kane Chronicles as well. Oooh and I have found some lovely X-men fics as well.

Yes, I'm one of those people that loves crossovers. Especially those fantasy-meets-procedural-cop-show fics, those take the cake, I love explaining the Winchesters or the Doctor through the eyes of FBI profilers.

Time travel and "what if" plots have always interested me as well.

If you've come here to find fics, well, I don't write a whole lot, but I wish you luck on your endeavors, and try not to procrastinate too much... at least don't regret it!
