Tips from a Grammar Nazi (Not mine but I totally agree with this).

-The English word "Your" is a possessive particle, only to be used when referring to an object that is yours. For example, "Your package arrived". In the case of "Your an idiot!", what you are trying to say is You are. The contraction of You are is You're. It's the same with "Their" and They're.

- Spell Check is your friend. When in doubt, LOOK IT UP! There are also different spellings for the same word (Bear, bare) and using the wrong one is embarrassing.
