ME:
I'm Elvyn-Light, a student who loves to write, read, listen to foreign music, and learn Japanese, among other things. I love Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss, and occasionally I dabble in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! I loved iced coffees and green apple gum, and getting reviews from my stories inspires me to write more. I plan on someday becoming a fantasy author.

And I absolutely love Tales of the Abyss.

MY STORIES:
Salvation Vacation (Tales of Symphonia - Kratos x Raine) - updated randomly, based on spurts of motivation. I have the rest of the story planned out, although I'm hesitant to write it all out in one big chunk and finish it like that. Luckily, I'm not short of inspiration.

Love Plus Four (Harry Potter - Hermione x Ron) - complete. This was my first fanfiction, and although I was satisfied with it, I realize I could have finished it up better. I wrote the last few chapters all at once, and in my opinion, they felt rather rushed. Not to mention I dropped Victor Krum out of the story several chapters in...

Dusk to Dawn (Tales of Phantasia) - Suzu-centric. I wrote this for a challenge and chose Suzu because I feel Phantasia doesn't get enough love.

FAVORITE TYPES OF FICS:
I mainly hang around the Tales of Symphonia and the Abyss, Harry Potter, Eragon, and X-Men categories, although I check 'Just In' every once in a while. If you'd like to recommend a fic to me, don't hesitate!
Tales of the Abyss - I love Luke x Tear, Guy x Tear, Asch x Tear, and generally any fic that catches my eye.
Tales of Symphonia - I love Kratos x Anna to death (no pun intended). I also like Kratos x Raine, Sheena x Zelos, Sheena x Lloyd, Genis x Presea, and any odd ficlet that captures my interest. I also love comedy stories in this category.
Harry Potter - Hermione x Draco is one of my favorites (see 'Valentine Encounter' by Kyra4 - quite possibly my favorite fanfiction ever!), although I also enjoy Hermione x Ron.
X-Men: Evolution - Rogue x Quicksilver and Rogue x Gambit stories are my favorites. I truly miss this show.

2008/04/20 21:17 - I guess I lied in my last update, because I never ended up writing that ToS comedy. I've had way too much work to do this year; s'pose I just wasn't up to working on something humorous. Perhaps that's reflected in the tone of my newest story, which I wrote last November: Dusk to Dawn. It's a Phantasia fic for all you ToP fans.

2007/11/04 11:41 - Yes, even longer break than usual! Well, I have to admit, I'm not really committed to updating Salvation Vacation, because I'm not a big fan of Kratos/Raine anymore. I guess it shows through my writing, too! Haha... I am, however, writing some fics for a Secret Santa project. One of them will be that ToS comedy mentioned above. It'll finally be written! And hopefully I'll get an idea of how to form Salvation Vacation. 'til then..!

2007/02/02 16:08 - What's this? I've beaten my average three-month hiatus! Now it's been five since I last updated. Man, am I bad a keeping a schedule or what? Anyway, I updated Salvation Vacation; I put lots of hard work into chapter 7, so I hope you all enjoy. I'll be back when I realize how lazy I've been - until then...!

2006/09/26 18:20 - After a three-month hiatus, I finally return to fanfiction. Hooray? I spent several hours on Salvation Vacation's sixth chapter after fleshing out the rest of my ideas. I know how I'm going to finish it now. Enjoy!

2006/06/24 01:45 - After two months, I finally updated Salvation Vacation. (Two months actually isn't that bad, considering the extensive break it was on before.. er..) It should be updated more often now that it's summertime! Also, I revamped my profile page; I think it was extensively boring before.
