I'm a late 30-something wife, mom of two TEENAGE boys (kill me now). Love them dearly, but sometimes I yearn for a one-way ticket to an island in the middle of, well, nowhere. Therefore, I write to escape Real life. It makes me happy, and when Momma's happy...everybody's happy. ;-) I live in the Midwest and have a great, emotionally taxing, but rewarding job that pays absolute sh*t. And then there's Twilight: Love it...read it in, like, two weeks (only because I had to do things like work, take care of kids, clean, cook...the plagues of motherhood, ya know), watched it. Rob's hot...'nuff said. And I found some fantastic equally certifiably insane people like myself...oh, and a little thing called fanfiction. AKA, my new obsessive-compulsive, sometimes bane of my existence, insomnia-inducing hobby. And THEN, I decided to write some of my own. OH boy. So, in this new and exciting hobby I've picked up, I happen to have posted a few stories. I've always loved creative writing. Funny thing is, I wasn't a huge reader. Hadn't read a novel in quite sometime. Enter Twilight. I guess it awakened the book-reading beast in me, because I can't get enough now. I actually loved my English Comp class in high school and did quite well, if I don't say so myself...but that was a long time ago. Thankfully I have fantastic betas that help me through my comma issues, spelling mishaps, grammar debacles, semi-colon screw-ups, and the ever present obsessive use of the word "then." LOL!
